أعلن الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان اليوم (الأحد) أن بلاده مستعدة لطمأنة العالم بأنها لا تسعى إلى امتلاك أسلحة نووية.
وقال بزشكيان إن فريق التفاوض لن يتنازل عندما يتعلق الأمر بشرف وكرامة البلاد، مضيفاً أن «الحكمة لا تتخذ أي قرارات خارج إطار مجلس الأمن القومي، ولا من دون التنسيق مع المرشد الأعلى وموافقته».
وأشار إلى أن إسرائيل تزعزع أمن المنطقة عبر سعيها لتنفيذ مخطط إسرائيل الكبرى وتدبر مؤامرات لجر المنطقة للحرب.
وهدد الرئيس الإيراني بمحاسبة من ينتظرون من الأمريكيين والإسرائيليين تقسيم البلاد، قائلاً إن «من ينتظرون أن تتمكن إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة من إلحاق الأذى بإيران وتقسيمها وتدميرها يجب أن يحاسبوا أمام الرأي العام».
وقال مصدر إيراني كبير لوكالة «رويترز» الأحد، إنه إذا وافق المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإيراني على مذكرة التفاهم مع الولايات المتحدة، فسيجري إرسالها إلى المرشد الأعلى الإيراني للموافقة النهائية.
وقال مسؤول أمريكي إن الولايات المتحدة وإيران باتتا على وشك توقيع تفاهم مؤقت لتمديد وقف إطلاق النار لمدة 60 يوماً، يتضمن إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز والسماح لطهران بتصدير النفط، بالتوازي مع إطلاق مسار تفاوضي حول برنامجها النووي.
ونقل موقع «أكسيوس» عن المسؤول قوله إن معظم بنود المسودة تم التحقق منها عبر مصادر مطلعة، فيما لم تؤكد طهران التفاصيل رسمياً، لكنها أشارت إلى اقتراب الحسم.
وذكرت تقارير إعلامية أن الاتفاق المبدئي المحتمل بين إيران وأمريكا سيحمل اسم «إعلان إسلام آباد»، مبينة أن باكستان ستتولى إعلان مذكرة التفاهم دون حاجة لحضور أطراف التفاوض، فيما قد تُعقد الجولة القادمة من المحادثات بين واشنطن وطهران في 5 يونيو، عبر إرسال وفدي البلدين عند بدء التفاوض على الاتفاق النهائي.
وأشارت التقارير إلى أن الاتفاق المبدئي هو مذكرة تفاهم، سيليها تفاوض على اتفاق نهائي حول القضايا الأساسية.
The Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian announced today (Sunday) that his country is ready to reassure the world that it does not seek to possess nuclear weapons.
Bezhakian stated that the negotiating team will not compromise when it comes to the honor and dignity of the country, adding that “wisdom does not make any decisions outside the framework of the National Security Council, nor without coordination with the Supreme Leader and his approval.”
He pointed out that Israel is destabilizing the region by seeking to implement the Greater Israel plan and is orchestrating conspiracies to drag the region into war.
The Iranian president threatened to hold accountable those who expect the Americans and Israelis to divide the country, saying that “those who expect Israel and the United States to harm Iran, divide it, and destroy it must be held accountable before public opinion.”
A senior Iranian source told Reuters on Sunday that if the Iranian Supreme National Security Council approves the memorandum of understanding with the United States, it will be sent to the Iranian Supreme Leader for final approval.
An American official stated that the United States and Iran are on the verge of signing a temporary understanding to extend the ceasefire for 60 days, which includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz and allowing Tehran to export oil, alongside launching a negotiating track regarding its nuclear program.
Axios reported that the official said most of the draft’s provisions have been verified through informed sources, while Tehran has not officially confirmed the details but indicated that a resolution is nearing.
Media reports mentioned that the potential preliminary agreement between Iran and the U.S. will be called the “Islamabad Declaration,” indicating that Pakistan will announce the memorandum of understanding without the need for the negotiating parties to be present, while the next round of talks between Washington and Tehran may take place on June 5, with the two countries sending delegations when negotiations on the final agreement begin.
Reports indicated that the preliminary agreement is a memorandum of understanding, which will be followed by negotiations on a final agreement regarding the core issues.
