شهد محيط البيت الأبيض مساء السبت حالة استنفار أمني واسعة، عقب سماع دوي طلقات نارية قرب الحديقة الشمالية، ما دفع جهاز الخدمة السرية إلى إخلاء المنطقة بشكل عاجل.
الـ«FBI» في الموقع
وأكد مدير مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي كاش باتيل، عبر منصة «إكس»، أن عناصر الـ«FBI» انتشرت في الموقع لدعم جهاز الخدمة السرية في التعامل مع الحادثة، مشيراً إلى أن السلطات ستعلن مزيداً من التفاصيل فور التحقق من المعلومات ميدانياً.
إجلاء الصحفيين
وذكرت شبكة «ABC» الأمريكية أن الصحفيين الموجودين في محيط البيت الأبيض تلقوا أوامر بالركض سريعاً نحو غرفة الإحاطات الصحفية داخل المبنى، في إجراء احترازي تزامن مع عمليات الإخلاء الأمني.

من جهته، أوضح جهاز الخدمة السرية أنه تلقى تقارير عن إطلاق نار قرب شارع 17 وجادة بنسلفانيا الشمالية الغربية، على بعد شارع واحد فقط من البيت الأبيض، مؤكداً أن الفرق الأمنية تعمل ميدانياً للتحقق من ملابسات الحادثة وتأكيد المعلومات الواردة.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed via the platform “X” that FBI agents were deployed to the scene to assist the Secret Service in handling the incident, noting that authorities would announce further details as soon as they verify the information on-site.
Evacuation of Journalists
The American network “ABC” reported that journalists present in the vicinity of the White House were ordered to quickly run to the press briefing room inside the building, as a precautionary measure coinciding with the security evacuation operations.

For its part, the Secret Service clarified that it received reports of gunfire near 17th Street and Northwest Pennsylvania Avenue, just one block from the White House, confirming that security teams are working on-site to verify the circumstances of the incident and confirm the incoming information.
