شهد نائب وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة في السعودية المهندس منصور المشيطي، على هامش منتدى سان بطرسبرغ الاقتصادي الدولي، توقيع 13 اتفاقية ومذكرة تفاهم إستراتيجية بين السعودية وروسيا، بقيمة استثمارية بلغت 4.8 مليار ريال، تهدف إلى توسيع آفاق التعاون والتبادل التجاري والاستثماري بين البلدين.
وأكد المهندس المشيطي أن منظومة «البيئة» عملت على استقطاب كبرى الشركات الروسية المتخصصة في المجالات الحيوية والغذائية، حيث شهد المنتدى توقيع حزمة من الاتفاقيات والشراكات النوعية بين جهات حكومية وشركات كبرى من قطاع الأعمال في البلدين؛ امتدادًا لجهود المملكة المتواصلة في تحقيق مستهدفات الأمن الغذائي، وتوطين التقنيات الحيوية المتقدمة، واستدامة سلاسل الإمداد، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وقال: «إن الاتفاقيات ومذكرات التفاهم التي وُقّعت على هامش مشاركة المملكة بصفتها ضيف شرف في منتدى سانت بطرسبرغ الاقتصادي الدولي توزعت بين عدد من المجالات الحيوية، شملت تصنيع وتوطين صناعة اللقاحات البيطرية لتعزيز الصحة الحيوانية والأمن الحيوي، وتطوير وإكثار سلالات الدواجن اللاحمة، لضمان الاكتفاء الذاتي واستدامة الإنتاج المحلي، بجانب تأمين مدخلات الأعلاف وسلاسل الإمداد لضمان استقرار ونمو قطاع الثروة الحيوانية، وتصدير الثروة السمكية السعودية من خلال اتفاقيات استراتيجية لتصدير الروبيان والأسماك عبر الشركات الروسية المتخصصة في الاستيراد والتوزيع العالمي».
The Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in Saudi Arabia, Engineer Mansour Al-Mushaiti, witnessed the signing of 13 strategic agreements and memorandums of understanding between Saudi Arabia and Russia, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, with an investment value of 4.8 billion riyals, aimed at expanding cooperation and trade and investment exchange between the two countries.
Engineer Al-Mushaiti confirmed that the “Environment” system has worked to attract major Russian companies specialized in vital and food sectors, as the forum witnessed the signing of a package of agreements and qualitative partnerships between government entities and major companies from the business sector in both countries; extending the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to achieve food security targets, localize advanced biotechnology, and sustain supply chains, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
He stated: “The agreements and memorandums of understanding signed on the sidelines of the Kingdom’s participation as a guest of honor at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum were distributed across several vital areas, including the manufacturing and localization of veterinary vaccine production to enhance animal health and biosecurity, the development and multiplication of broiler chicken breeds to ensure self-sufficiency and sustainability of local production, in addition to securing feed inputs and supply chains to ensure the stability and growth of the livestock sector, and exporting Saudi fishery resources through strategic agreements to export shrimp and fish via specialized Russian companies in global import and distribution.”
