ينشط الإعلام السياسي في أوقات الأزمات والأحداث الطارئة في التعبير عن الحقائق، ونشر المعلومات عنها، وتشكيل الرأي العام تجاهها؛ بهدف التأثير في الجمهور لتبني مواقف وتوجهات معينة؛ مدعومة بمواقف قوية، وعلاقات مؤثرة، وتعبئة رقمية في شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي.
هذا النشاط يواجه اليوم تحديات كبيرة على مستوى التضليل الإعلامي من جهات وشخصيات مأجورة، وبات أكثر تعقيداً مع تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، وأساليب التزييف العميق، والتحيّز الأيديولوجي لأجندات مكشوفة، وملونة، ومثيرة للجدل.
لقد واجهت السعودية خلال الأسبوع الماضي من أحداث اليمن ولا تزال حملات إعلامية مغرضة، واتهامات تجاوزها الزمن، ولم تعد مقنعة في زمن القوة، والتحوّلات الاستراتيجية، والعلاقات الراسخة مع دول العالم، وبالتالي انكسرت شوكة المأزومين والمضللين والكاذبين على الحقيقة والواقع، وبقيت السعودية هي مصدر الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
بيانات الإعلام السياسي السعودي عبّرت بوضوح عن أهمية إيجاد حلول عادلة للقضية الجنوبية؛ تستند على الحوار بين جميع المكوّنات الجنوبية دون استثناء أو إقصاء، وتلبي تطلعات الجنوبيين المشروعة، وهذا التوجه الاستراتيجي للمملكة نابع من حرصها على أمن واستقرار اليمن الذي يعد جزءاً من أمن واستقرار المملكة.
السعودية تدرك أن الجنوب اليمني يمر بمرحلة دقيقة وحسّاسة جداً، وتتطلب هذه المرحلة وضوحاً صريحاً مع الرأي العام الداخلي والخارجي في سبيل حماية الإنسان، وصون الأمن، والحفاظ على مؤسسات الدولة اليمنية، وعلى هذا الأساس سعت المملكة من اليوم الأول للأزمة في التعبير عن مواقفها وتوجهاتها في خفض التصعيد والعودة إلى طاولة الحوار، والإعلان عن مؤتمر شامل يجمع الجنوبيين، وهذا التوجه النبيل باركته بيانات دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، وجامعة الدول العربية، والأمانة العامة لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي، حيث أشادت تلك البيانات بمبادرة المملكة في لم الشمل، ونبذ العنف، وإعلاء صوت السلام.
المؤسف أن شخصيات سياسية وثقافية وإعلامية فضّلت الصمت حتى اللحظة عن جهود المملكة في احتواء الأزمة اليمنية في الجنوب، وعدم التعليق لاعتبارات شخصية، أو موضوعية، أو حتى مكانية، رغم أنه يمكن تجاوز تلك الاعتبارات بكلمات تشيد بموقف المملكة في احتواء الأزمة ومعالجتها بحكمة ومسؤولية، ولكن حتى هذه الكلمات يبدو أنها ستكون مكلفة على البعض.
ندرك أن الدرس المستفاد من الصمت هو اكتساب الحكمة، والوضوح الذهني، والهدوء الداخلي، والحفاظ على المصالح، وحماية النفس من الزلات، ولكن الدروس الأخرى تخبرنا أيضاً أن الصمت عن قول الحقيقة، وتعزيز المواقف، والإشادة بالجهود؛ هو في غير محله، ويثير الشكوك حوله!.
قدر السعودية أن تبقى كبيرة بقيادتها وشعبها، وحكيمة في معالجة التحديات والضغوطات التي تواجهها، وجريئة في مواجهة مشروعات التقسيم والانفصال في المنطقة، وقدرها أيضاً أن تتجاوز أصوات النشاز؛ فضلاً عن تجاوز مبررات الصامتين!.
Political media becomes active during times of crises and emergencies in expressing the truths, disseminating information about them, and shaping public opinion towards them; with the aim of influencing the public to adopt certain positions and orientations; supported by strong stances, influential relationships, and digital mobilization on social media networks.
This activity today faces significant challenges regarding media misinformation from paid entities and individuals, and has become more complicated with artificial intelligence technologies, deepfake methods, and ideological biases for overt, colorful, and controversial agendas.
Saudi Arabia has faced, and continues to face, malicious media campaigns and outdated accusations during the past week regarding the events in Yemen, which are no longer convincing in an era of strength, strategic transformations, and established relationships with countries around the world. Consequently, the power of the distressed, misled, and truth-deceiving individuals has been broken, and Saudi Arabia remains a source of security and stability in the region.
Statements from Saudi political media clearly expressed the importance of finding just solutions to the southern issue; based on dialogue among all southern components without exception or exclusion, and meeting the legitimate aspirations of the southerners. This strategic direction of the Kingdom stems from its concern for the security and stability of Yemen, which is part of the security and stability of the Kingdom.
Saudi Arabia recognizes that southern Yemen is going through a very delicate and sensitive phase, and this phase requires clear communication with both the internal and external public opinion in order to protect individuals, preserve security, and maintain the institutions of the Yemeni state. On this basis, the Kingdom has sought from the first day of the crisis to express its positions and orientations towards de-escalation and returning to the dialogue table, and to announce a comprehensive conference that brings together the southerners. This noble direction has been endorsed by statements from the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Arab League, and the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, where these statements praised the Kingdom’s initiative in uniting efforts, rejecting violence, and elevating the voice of peace.
It is unfortunate that some political, cultural, and media figures have preferred silence until now regarding the Kingdom’s efforts to contain the Yemeni crisis in the south, and have refrained from commenting for personal, objective, or even geographical reasons, despite the fact that these considerations could be overcome with words praising the Kingdom’s position in containing and wisely and responsibly addressing the crisis. However, even these words seem to be costly for some.
We understand that the lesson learned from silence is to gain wisdom, mental clarity, inner calm, protect interests, and safeguard oneself from missteps. However, other lessons also tell us that silence about speaking the truth, reinforcing positions, and praising efforts is misplaced and raises doubts about it!
It is Saudi Arabia’s fate to remain great with its leadership and people, wise in addressing the challenges and pressures it faces, and bold in confronting division and separation projects in the region. It is also its fate to transcend discordant voices, as well as to move beyond the justifications of the silent!
