أوضح المشرف العام على بطولة البادل أحمد الغامدي أن البطولة تقام ضمن فعاليات موسم القادسية الرمضاني خلال الفترة من 8 إلى 12 رمضان على ملاعب النادي بالخبر، يوميًا من التاسعة مساء حتى الواحدة صباحًا، بمشاركة 98 لاعبا ولاعبة، وأن الانتقال من نظام خروج المغلوب في الموسم الماضي إلى نظام المجموعات لفئة المحترفين هذا الموسم أسهم في رفع وتيرة الحماس ومنح اللاعبين فرصًا أكبر لإبراز مستوياتهم، حيث تتنافس 8 فرق محترفه بـ(16 لاعبا)، و32 فريق هواة بـ(46 لاعبا)، و9 فرق سيدات بـ (18 لاعبة)، مبينًا أن فئات الهواة شهدت أيضًا نقلة نوعية، تمثلت في تأهيل عدد من اللاعبين المميزين من الموسم الماضي إلى فئة المحترفين، إضافة إلى تعزيز مشاركة السيدات، وهو ما يعكس اتساع قاعدة اللعبة وتنامي حضورها. وأضاف أن البطولة حظيت بحضور جماهيري لافت وتفاعل كبير، ما يؤكد مكانتها المتصاعدة كإحدى أبرز الفعاليات الرياضية الرمضانية، مختتماً تصريحه بقوله:«الأجواء تنافسية تجمع بين المتعة والإثارة وإبراز المهارات، بما يعكس النمو المتسارع لرياضة البادل والإقبال المتزايد عليها من مختلف الفئات».
من جهة أخرى، يواصل نادي القادسية ترسيخ رسالته المجتمعية عبر مبادرات نوعية تعزز مفاهيم الشمولية والتكافل، وتفتح أبواب المشاركة أمام الجميع دون استثناء، حيث يشهد الموسم تجربة تفاعلية لمحتوى لغة الإشارة بشكل احترافي ضمن مادة مدمجة في الفعاليات، في خطوة تعكس حرص إدارة النادي على تمكين فئة الصم وضعاف السمع، وإيصال الرسائل التوعوية والبرامج المصاحبة بلغة يفهمها الجميع.
The General Supervisor of the Padel Championship, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, clarified that the championship is held as part of the Qadisiyah Ramadan Season activities from the 8th to the 12th of Ramadan at the club’s courts in Khobar, daily from 9 PM to 1 AM, with the participation of 98 male and female players. He noted that the transition from the knockout system in the previous season to the group system for the professional category this season has contributed to increasing the excitement and providing players with greater opportunities to showcase their skills. Eight professional teams (with 16 players), 32 amateur teams (with 46 players), and 9 women’s teams (with 18 players) are competing. He pointed out that the amateur categories have also seen a qualitative leap, represented by the qualification of several outstanding players from last season to the professional category, in addition to enhancing women’s participation, which reflects the expansion of the game’s base and its growing presence. He added that the championship has witnessed remarkable audience attendance and significant interaction, confirming its rising status as one of the most prominent Ramadan sports events. He concluded his statement by saying: “The atmosphere is competitive, combining enjoyment and excitement while showcasing skills, reflecting the rapid growth of padel sports and the increasing interest in it from various groups.”
