أكد فريق «سلام الجامعة» بجدة علو كعبه وسيطرته الفنية داخل الملعب، بحجزه مقعده كأول الواصلين للمباراة النهائية لبطولة «جدة 2026» لكرة القدم، المقرر إقامتها الثلاثاء القادم، حيث سيلتقي الفائز من مباراة نصف النهائي الأخرى بين فريقي «حرس الحدود» بمنطقة مكة المكرمة و«التعاون» من جدة.
وانتصر «الجامعة» على فريق «شرطة» محافظة جدة بنتيجة (1-0) ضمن أولى مباريات دور الـ4 في البطولة، التي أقيمت الجمعة 27 فبراير، على ملعب «رديف الجوهرة» بمدينة الملك عبد الله الرياضية بجدة.
واكتسبت هذه المباراة أهمية خاصة؛ كونها أول مواجهة تجمع بين فرق الجهات الحكومية وفرق الهواة المشاركة في البطولة.
The “University Peace” team in Jeddah confirmed its superiority and technical control on the field by securing its place as the first team to reach the final match of the “Jeddah 2026” football tournament, scheduled to take place next Tuesday, where they will meet the winner of the other semifinal match between the “Border Guard” team from the Makkah region and the “Cooperation” team from Jeddah.
The “University” team defeated the “Police” team of Jeddah Governorate with a score of (1-0) in the first match of the quarter-finals of the tournament, which took place on Friday, February 27, at the “Redef Al-Jawhara” stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
This match gained special significance as it was the first encounter between teams from government agencies and amateur teams participating in the tournament.
