– منذ فترة طويلة توقفتُ عن حضور مباريات أندية المدينة المنورة.. لا أعرف السبب تحديداً، ربما هو رد فعل على وضعها الحالي التعيس، بعد سنوات طوال من التألق والحضور تحت الأضواء. لقد عاصرتُ الفترة الذهبية لأندية المدينة المنورة، وتعايشتُ مع البطولات والإنجازات رغم شح الإمكانات، وتفاعلتُ مع رؤساء أندية المنطقة في مراحل «مدٍّ وجزر» اختلفنا واتفقنا، وكان الهدف دائماً أن تظل أندية المدينة المنورة ضمن كبار الأندية السعودية.
– لكن ما الذي حدث بعد ذلك؟ أصدقكم القول، لا أستوعب حتى هذه اللحظة أن ناديي «أُحد» و«الأنصار» يقبعان اليوم في دوري الدرجة الثالثة! هل هذا يعقل؟ أما في كرة السلة، فقد كانا قطبي اللعبة في المملكة؛ فنادي «أُحد»، أحد أبرز أبطال اللعبة تاريخياً محلياً وخليجياً وحقق 45 بطولة، بات الآن في دوري الدرجة الأولى، بينما «الأنصار» الذي كان يوماً ما بطلاً للعبة لا وجود له حالياً بعد إلغاء الفريق الأول، واكتفت الإدارة بالتركيز على الدرجات السنية فعلاً، إنه أمرٌ محزن.
– هل تلك القصة الجميلة انتهت وأصبحت من الماضي؟ وهل نتحدث اليوم عن تاريخ تحوّل إلى مجرد ذكريات؟ وهل يصح القول إن دخلاء تسللوا إلى مفاصل أندية المدينة المنورة أوصلوها إلى هذا الحال؟
– حين أتذكر رؤساء الأندية السابقين الذين عاصروا تلك الحقبة الجميلة، أستحضر كيف عملوا تحت ضغط صخب الجماهير، ومطالب الإعلام، وشح الموارد المالية، حتى أن بعضهم كان ينفق من ماله الخاص ليضع ناديه في أفضل حال.
– في نادي «أُحد» أسماء لا يمكن أن يمحوها التاريخ، أمثال: عدنان شيرة (رحمه الله)، وعلي فودة، وفايز عايش الأحمدي، وحامد رشيد الأحمدي (رحمه الله)، وسعود الحربي. اتفقنا واختلفنا مع بعضهم، لكنهم جميعاً تركوا بصمة لا تُنسى.
وفي نادي «الأنصار»، تبرز ذكرى المهندس مصطفى بلول (رحمه الله) الذي وضع الأسس والقواعد للارتقاء بناديه، ومحمد بهاء نيازي الذي حقق إنجازات هي الأفضل في تاريخ النادي.
– بعد تلك الحقبة، حدث فراغ كبير، وتسلل بعض الباحثين عن بريق الكراسي، فأوصلوا الناديين إلى هذا المنحدر. وللإنصاف، فإن الإدارتين الحاليتين تواجهان تركة ثقيلة وإرثاً يحتاج لسنوات من العمل لإصلاحه، خصوصاً بعد أن تم تفريغ الناديين من أصولهما المتمثلة في النجوم والمواهب التي تشتت في أندية المملكة.
– رغم الحزن العميق على حال أنديتنا، ما زلت متفائلاً بعودة قطبي «طيبة الطيبة» إلى مكانتهما الطبيعية. متى يحدث هذا؟ الإجابة في يد إدارتي «أُحد» و«الأنصار» وعملهما الجاد في الفترة القادمة.
أتمنى ألا يطول الانتظار حتى لا يطوي النسيان تاريخاً عريقاً، فالنتائج والبطولات هي المقياس الحقيقي للعمل.

وإن وجدت منهم غير ذلك التمست لهم العذر وأوكلت أمرها إلى لله.
– A long time ago, I stopped attending the matches of the clubs in Medina. I don’t know the exact reason; perhaps it is a reaction to their current miserable state, after many years of brilliance and being in the spotlight. I witnessed the golden era of the clubs in Medina, lived through the championships and achievements despite the scarcity of resources, and interacted with the presidents of the clubs in the region during phases of “ebb and flow” where we disagreed and agreed, with the constant goal being to keep the clubs in Medina among the top Saudi clubs.
– But what happened after that? To be honest, I still cannot comprehend that my clubs “Ohod” and “Ansar” are today languishing in the third division! Is this conceivable? As for basketball, they were the poles of the game in the Kingdom; “Ohod,” one of the most prominent champions of the game historically both locally and regionally, having won 45 championships, is now in the first division, while “Ansar,” which was once a champion of the game, currently has no presence after the first team was dissolved, and the administration has focused solely on youth categories. It is indeed a sad situation.
– Has that beautiful story ended and become part of the past? Are we today talking about a history that has turned into mere memories? Is it fair to say that intruders have infiltrated the joints of the clubs in Medina and brought them to this state?
– When I remember the former club presidents who experienced that beautiful era, I recall how they worked under the pressure of fan noise, media demands, and scarce financial resources, to the extent that some of them spent their own money to put their club in the best condition.
– In “Ohod,” there are names that history cannot erase, such as: Adnan Shira (may he rest in peace), Ali Foda, Faiz Ayash Al-Ahmadi, Hamid Rashid Al-Ahmadi (may he rest in peace), and Saud Al-Harbi. We agreed and disagreed with some of them, but they all left an unforgettable mark.
In “Ansar,” the memory of engineer Mustafa Balloul (may he rest in peace) stands out, who laid the foundations and principles for elevating his club, and Muhammad Bahaa Niazi, who achieved the best accomplishments in the club’s history.
– After that era, a significant void occurred, and some seekers of the allure of positions infiltrated, leading both clubs to this decline. To be fair, the current administrations face a heavy legacy and an inheritance that requires years of work to fix, especially after the clubs were drained of their assets represented in the stars and talents that scattered across the clubs in the Kingdom.
– Despite the deep sadness over the state of our clubs, I remain optimistic about the return of the poles of “Taybah” to their rightful place. When will this happen? The answer lies in the hands of the administrations of “Ohod” and “Ansar” and their diligent work in the coming period.
I hope the wait is not long so that forgetfulness does not erase a rich history, as results and championships are the true measure of work.
