انطلقت أمس في واحة الملك سلمان للعلوم بالرياض منافسات النهائي الوطني لمسابقة دوري فيرست للروبوت 2026، بمشاركة 124 طالباً وطالبة يمثلون 31 فريقاً من 8 إدارات تعليمية، تمهيداً للتأهل للنهائيات العالمية في الولايات المتحدة.
وتتوزع المشاركة على فئات التحدي والاستكشاف وتحدي فيرست التقني، ضمن مجالات تشمل لعبة الروبوت، ومشروع الابتكار، وتصميم الروبوت، والقيم الأساسية. وتحمل نسخة هذا العام عنوان «عصر الاكتشاف»، وتركّز على توظيف التقنيات الحديثة في علم الآثار.
وتهدف وزارة التعليم من خلال المسابقة إلى تنمية مهارات الطلبة في البرمجة والروبوتات والابتكار، وتعزيز مهارات القرن الـ21، ودعم دمج التقنيات الحديثة والذكاء الاصطناعي في العملية التعليمية.
Yesterday, the national finals of the FIRST Robotics Competition 2026 kicked off at the King Salman Oasis for Science in Riyadh, with the participation of 124 male and female students representing 31 teams from 8 educational administrations, in preparation for qualifying for the global finals in the United States.
The participation is divided into challenge and exploration categories, as well as the FIRST Tech Challenge, covering areas including robot games, innovation projects, robot design, and core values. This year’s edition is titled “The Age of Discovery,” focusing on the application of modern technologies in archaeology.
The Ministry of Education aims through the competition to develop students’ skills in programming, robotics, and innovation, enhance 21st-century skills, and support the integration of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in the educational process.
