– In this context, it is essential to point out the position of the Saudi Professional League, which demonstrated a clear and swift response regarding what was published about Al-Nassr Club captain Cristiano Ronaldo when it promptly replied to the BBC Sport network. This response was not followed by any objection from the player or his club, which reinforces the integrity of the league’s position and confirms the principle of club independence in making their decisions.
