توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (السبت)، هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة تحد من مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من مناطق الرياض، القصيم، الشرقية، وتكون خفيفة على أجزاء من مرتفعات مناطق مكة المكرمة، الباحة، عسير، جازان، ولا يستبعد تكوّن الضباب على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، في حين تؤثر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من منطقتي الجوف والحدود الشمالية.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط بسرعة 10 – 25 كم/ساعة وجنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 12 – 35 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50كم/ساعة باتجاه مضيق باب المندب، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي يصل إلى أعلى من مترين باتجاه المضيق، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الجنوبي يصل إلى مائج باتجاه المضيق.
وستكون الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي جنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط بسرعة 15-35 كم/ساعة، وشمالية شرقية إلى شرقية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 12 – 28كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونص يصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Saturday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will lead to the flow of torrents, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds that limit horizontal visibility in parts of the Riyadh, Qassim, and Eastern regions. Light rain is expected in parts of the highlands of the Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan regions, and fog formation is not ruled out in parts of those areas, while active winds stirring up dust and sand will affect parts of the Al-Jawf and Northern Borders regions.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at a speed of 10 – 25 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part at a speed of 12 – 35 km/h, reaching 50 km/h towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The wave height will range from half a meter to one meter in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, reaching over two meters towards the strait. The sea condition will be light in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate in the southern part, becoming rough towards the strait.
The surface winds over the Arabian Gulf will be southeasterly to southerly in the northern and central parts at a speed of 15-35 km/h, and northeasterly to easterly in the southern part at a speed of 12 – 28 km/h, reaching 50 km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds. The wave height will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching over two meters with the formation of rainy thunderclouds, and the sea condition will be light to moderate, becoming rough with the formation of rainy thunderclouds.
