بهذا الفوز رفع الأهلي رصيده إلى 33 نقطة ليصعد «مؤقتاً» إلى المركز الثاني في جدول ترتيب الدوري المصري، متأخراً بنقطتين عن سيراميكا كليوباترا المتصدر.
في المقابل، تجمد رصيد الجونة عند 20 نقطة في المركز الثالث عشر، بعد تلقيه الهزيمة الرابعة هذا الموسم.

The only goal for Al Ahly came in the 35th minute after a precise cross sent by Moroccan Ashraf Bencharki from the right flank into the penalty area, which was met by Imam Ashour with a powerful header into the net.
Team Standings
With this victory, Al Ahly raised their points total to 33, temporarily climbing to second place in the Egyptian league standings, two points behind the leaders, Ceramica Cleopatra.
On the other hand, El Gouna’s points remained at 20, placing them in thirteenth position, after suffering their fourth defeat this season.
