أعلنت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء دخول نظام الإحصاء -الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (م/29) في تاريخ 10/ 2/ 1447هـ الموافق 4/ 8/ 2025- حيز التنفيذ الفعلي في فبراير الجاري، ليحل محل نظام الإحصاءات العامة للدولة الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (23) في تاريخ 7/ 12/ 1379هـ الموافق 1/ 6/ 1960، ونظام تعداد السكان العام الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (م/13) في تاريخ 3/ 4/ 1391هـ الموافق 16/ 6/ 1971.
ويعدّ نظام الإحصاء، إطاراً تنظيمياً حديثاً ينسجم مع توجهات المملكة نحو بناء منظومة معرفية متكاملة قائمة على البيانات الدقيقة، ويمثِّل أحدَ الأعمدة الأساسية لتعزيز جودة الإحصاءات الرسمية في المملكة ورفع موثوقيتها، وتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، كما يشكل مرحلةً تشريعية نوعية في مسيرة التحول الإحصائي بالمملكة، وتعميق أثر الإحصاءات في دعم الخطط التنموية وصناعة القرار.
وتدعو الهيئة العامة للإحصاء المختصين من الإحصائيين والأكاديميين والباحثين وعموم المطلعين إلى زيارة موقعها الإلكتروني والاطلاع على تفاصيل النظام، الذي نشرته قبل عدة أيام باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.
The General Authority for Statistics has announced the implementation of the Statistics System – issued by Royal Decree No. (M/29) on 10/2/1447 AH, corresponding to 4/8/2025 – which will come into actual effect this February, replacing the General Statistics System of the State issued by Royal Decree No. (23) on 7/12/1379 AH, corresponding to 1/6/1960, and the General Population Census System issued by Royal Decree No. (M/13) on 3/4/1391 AH, corresponding to 16/6/1971.
The Statistics System is considered a modern regulatory framework that aligns with the Kingdom’s direction towards building an integrated knowledge system based on accurate data. It represents one of the fundamental pillars for enhancing the quality of official statistics in the Kingdom and increasing their reliability, achieving the objectives of Vision 2030, and marking a qualitative legislative phase in the statistical transformation journey in the Kingdom, deepening the impact of statistics in supporting development plans and decision-making.
The General Authority for Statistics invites specialists from statisticians, academics, researchers, and the general public to visit its website and review the details of the system, which was published a few days ago in both Arabic and English.
