وكان الاتحاد الآسيوي قد كلف طاقماً سعودياً لإدارة المباراة بقيادة الحكم الدولي السعودي ماجد الشمراني، بمساندة الحكمين المساعدين عمر الجمل وهشام الرفاعي، فيما تولّى سلطان الحربي مهمات حكم تقنية الفيديو (VAR).
The match observer for the Indonesian club Persib Bandung and the Thai club Ratchaburi, Australian Adam Mark, recorded in his official report the events that accompanied the match during the second leg of the Round of 16 in the “AFC Champions League 2,” including the descent of a number of fans onto the pitch and their assault on the international Saudi referee Majed Al-Shamrani and his team. The AFC had assigned a Saudi crew to officiate the match, led by international Saudi referee Majed Al-Shamrani, with the assistance of assistant referees Omar Al-Jamal and Hisham Al-Rifai, while Sultan Al-Harbi was responsible for the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties.
