أكدت وزيرة الشؤون القانونية اليمنية، القاضي إشراق المقطري، عمق العلاقات الإستراتيجية التي تربط الجمهورية اليمنية بالمملكة العربية السعودية، مثمنةً المواقف التاريخية والثابتة للمملكة في دعم المؤسسات الشرعية ومساندة اليمن سياسياً واقتصادياً، بما يمكّن الحكومة من أداء مسؤولياتها الدستورية وتلبية تطلعات الشعب اليمني.
دور محوري وحاسم
وأوضحت الوزيرة المقطري، في حديثها لـ«عكاظ»، أن الدعم السعودي المستمر شكّل ركيزة أساسية مكّنت الدولة اليمنية من الصمود أمام تحديات غير مسبوقة استهدفت كيانها الدستوري والقانوني، مشيرة إلى أن الدور المحوري للمملكة جاء في لحظات تاريخية بالغة التعقيد، وأسهم بشكل حاسم في الحفاظ على تماسك مؤسسات الدولة ومنع انهيارها.
التصدي للانقلاب
وتطرقت الوزيرة اليمنية إلى الانعكاسات الكارثية للانقلاب الحوثي على المنظومة القانونية والسياسية في اليمن، مبينة أن الجماعة الحوثية لم تكتفِ بمحاولة السيطرة العسكرية، بل تعمدت الانقلاب على الدستور وتعطيل القوانين النافذة، وفرضت سلطة الأمر الواقع بقوة السلاح عبر إعلانات غير شرعية. واستعرضت سلسلة من الانتهاكات الجسيمة التي طالت المدنيين والسياسيين والصحفيين، وتدمير الممتلكات العامة والخاصة، ومصادرة الحريات العامة، في مسعى واضح لإلغاء التعددية السياسية وسلخ اليمن عن هويته العربية واستبدال نظامه الجمهوري الديمقراطي بمشاريع طائفية أثارت الفوضى والخراب.
حضور وحائط سد
وشددت وزيرة الشؤون القانونية اليمنية القاضي المقطري، على أن الحضور السعودي الفاعل كان بمثابة حائط صد منع انزلاق اليمن نحو المزيد من التمزق والصراع. وأكدت، أن جهود المملكة لم تقتصر على الدعم الميداني، بل امتدت لتشمل توحيد الصف اليمني، ورعاية الحوارات الوطنية بين مختلف المكونات، وتوفير الغطاء السياسي والدبلوماسي الذي حافظ على المركز القانوني والسيادي للجمهورية اليمنية أمام المجتمع الدولي، وساهم في صون أمن واستقرار اليمن ووحدته.
وقفة المملكة مكّنت الدولة من الصمود أمام التحديات وتخطي العاصفة
The Yemeni Minister of Legal Affairs, Judge Ishraq Al-Maqtari, confirmed the depth of the strategic relations that bind the Republic of Yemen to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, appreciating the historical and steadfast positions of the Kingdom in supporting legitimate institutions and assisting Yemen politically and economically, enabling the government to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities and meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people.
Central and Decisive Role
Minister Al-Maqtari explained, in her talk to “Okaz,” that the continuous Saudi support has formed a fundamental pillar that enabled the Yemeni state to withstand unprecedented challenges targeting its constitutional and legal entity, pointing out that the Kingdom’s pivotal role came at historically complex moments and played a decisive part in maintaining the cohesion of state institutions and preventing their collapse.
Countering the Coup
The Yemeni minister addressed the catastrophic repercussions of the Houthi coup on the legal and political system in Yemen, indicating that the Houthi group did not limit itself to military control but deliberately sought to overturn the constitution, suspend existing laws, and impose a de facto authority by force of arms through illegal declarations. She reviewed a series of serious violations that affected civilians, politicians, and journalists, the destruction of public and private property, and the confiscation of public freedoms, in a clear attempt to abolish political pluralism and detach Yemen from its Arab identity, replacing its republican democratic system with sectarian projects that have caused chaos and devastation.
Presence and Bulwark
Judge Al-Maqtari emphasized that the active Saudi presence served as a bulwark that prevented Yemen from slipping further into fragmentation and conflict. She affirmed that the Kingdom’s efforts were not limited to field support but extended to unifying the Yemeni ranks, sponsoring national dialogues among various components, and providing the political and diplomatic cover that maintained the legal and sovereign status of the Republic of Yemen before the international community, contributing to the preservation of Yemen’s security, stability, and unity.
The Kingdom’s stance enabled the state to withstand challenges and overcome the storm.
