جسّدت المملكة العربية السعودية مرة أخرى نهجها الإنساني الراسخ وحرصها الدائم على وحدة الصف الخليجي، وذلك بعد توجيه خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، بالموافقة على استضافة جميع العالقين في مطارات المملكة من مواطني دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
جاء هذا التوجيه الكريم بناءً على ما عرضه ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، ليؤكد عمق الروابط الأخوية بين شعوب الخليج، ويعكس سياسة المملكة القائمة على الإيثار والوقوف مع الأشقاء في مختلف الظروف.
وقد شمل التوجيه الملكي، تهيئة جميع الإجراءات اللازمة لاستضافة العالقين وإكرامهم، وتوفير كل ما يضمن راحتهم وأمنهم حتى تتهيأ الظروف المناسبة لعودتهم إلى بلدانهم سالمين مكرمين.
كما وجّه خادم الحرمين، الجهات المختصة بتنفيذ هذه الإجراءات فوراً، في استجابة تعكس سرعة التعامل مع الأزمات وحرص القيادة على عدم ترك أي مواطن خليجي يواجه ظروفاً صعبة بمفرده.
وهذا الموقف ليس جديداً على المملكة؛ فقد سبق لها أن استضافت العالقين من مختلف دول العالم خلال جائحة كورونا، كما قامت بإجلاء آلاف المتضررين من السودان في واحدة من أكبر العمليات الإنسانية التي شهدها العالم، وكذلك العالقين في جزيرة سقطرى اليمنية.
هذه المواقف المتكررة تؤكد أن المملكة لا تتعامل مع الأزمات بمنطق الحدود، بل بروح المسؤولية الإنسانية والواجب الأخوي.
إن هذه المبادرة الكريمة تعكس قيم القيادة السعودية في العطاء والإنسانية، وتعزز مكانة المملكة كحاضنة للأمن والاستقرار، وبيتٍ كبير يجمع الأشقاء قبل الأصدقاء.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has once again embodied its steadfast humanitarian approach and its constant commitment to Gulf unity, following the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to host all those stranded at the Kingdom’s airports from the citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
This generous directive came based on what was presented by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, confirming the deep brotherly ties between the peoples of the Gulf and reflecting the Kingdom’s policy based on selflessness and standing by its brothers in various circumstances.
The royal directive included preparing all necessary measures to host the stranded individuals and honor them, providing everything that ensures their comfort and safety until suitable conditions are prepared for their safe and dignified return to their countries.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also directed the relevant authorities to implement these measures immediately, in a response that reflects the speed of dealing with crises and the leadership’s commitment to not leaving any Gulf citizen facing difficult circumstances alone.
This stance is not new for the Kingdom; it has previously hosted stranded individuals from various countries during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as evacuated thousands of those affected from Sudan in one of the largest humanitarian operations witnessed by the world, as well as those stranded on Socotra Island in Yemen.
These repeated stances confirm that the Kingdom does not deal with crises in terms of borders, but with a spirit of humanitarian responsibility and brotherly duty.
This generous initiative reflects the values of Saudi leadership in giving and humanity, and enhances the Kingdom’s position as a haven for security and stability, and a large home that brings together brothers before friends.
