دعت سفارة المملكة العربية السعودية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، المواطنين السعوديين الموجودين في العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن والمناطق المجاورة لها، إلى أخذ الحيطة والحذر، في ضوء التحذيرات الصادرة بشأن العاصفة المتوقع أن تضرب المنطقة.
وأوضحت في بيان لها، أنه إشارةً إلى التحذيرات الصادرة بشأن العاصفة المتوقعة في العاصمة واشنطن والمناطق المجاورة لها، وحرصاً على سلامة وأمن المواطنين، فإنها تهيب بالمواطنين السعوديين كافة باتباع الإرشادات الصادرة عن الجهات المحلية المختصة. وحثت السفارة المواطنين على التواصل معها في حالات الطوارئ.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the United States has urged Saudi citizens in the American capital, Washington, and the surrounding areas, to exercise caution and vigilance in light of the warnings issued regarding the storm expected to hit the region.
In a statement, it clarified that in reference to the warnings issued about the anticipated storm in Washington, D.C., and the surrounding areas, and in order to ensure the safety and security of citizens, it calls upon all Saudi citizens to follow the guidelines issued by the relevant local authorities. The embassy also encouraged citizens to contact it in case of emergencies.
