أعرب عدد من المفتين وكبار علماء العالم الإسلامي، عن شجبهم واستنكارهم للعدوان الإيراني الغاشم على عددٍ من الدول الخليجية والعربية والإسلامية، وما استهدفه من المناطق السكنية والأعيان المدنية، لا سيما العدوان السافر على المملكة العربية السعودية التي تحتضن قبلة المسلمين، ومسجد الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم)، وما يتعرض له جوارها من تهديد بمجازفات العدوان، مؤكدين الحق الكامل للدول المُعتدى عليها في اتخاذ الإجراءات التي تكفل حماية أمنها وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها، وردع العدوان.
وعبّروا في اتصالات وبرقيات تلقتها رابطة العالم الإسلامي عن ألمهم البالغ من هذا الإجرام غير المسبوق من دولةٍ تُعد إسلامية على جيرانها غير المنخرطين في المواجهة العسكرية ضدّها، مؤكدين تأييدهم التام لكل ما صدر عن الرابطة في هذا الصدد.
وأكدوا أن هذه الجناية النكراء تُمثّل في توصيفها الشرعي خيانةً للأمة، ونكثًا لروابط الأخوة، وغدرًا بالجوار، وأن الألم بها يتضاعف عندما تصدر عن بلدٍ يدعو -بظاهر القول- إلى وحدة الصف الإسلامي وتعزيز أخوّته، مشددين على أن الإسلام ليس مجرد شعارات تُرفع وعبارات تُطلق، دون أثرٍ عمليٍّ ملموس يُمثّل قيم الإسلام ويعكس واقعه، فضلًا عمّا يضاد ذلك من هذا الاعتداء السافر.
وأوضحوا أن هذا العدوان لا تعرفه الأمة الإسلامية في قيم أخوّتها، ولا في واثق عراها، ولا في جهود تفاهمها وتقاربها، وأنه لا يمكن تفسيره إلا على أساس تراكم سوء النوايا وما صاحبها من رهانات خاسرة، بينما يدفع ثمن ذلك ما تصبو إليه الدول الإسلامية من تعزيز وشائج الود، وتفعيل ميثاقها الذي تعاهدت عليه عند إنشاء منظمة التعاون الإسلامي.
وشددوا على أن إيران ما لم تتوقف عن هجماتها الغاشمة، فإنها ستكون أمام عزلة إسلامية تعقبها مخاطر وتبعات يقودها إليها وجدان لا يُضمر خيرًا، ولا يعرف حقًا من باطل.
وأعرب الأمين العام للرابطة، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الدكتور محمد عبدالكريم العيسى، عن تقديره العميق لمشاعر الأخوّة الإسلامية غير المستغربة من علماء الأمة، وما اشتملت عليه من الحرص على وحدة الكلمة وتعزيز أواصر المودة في عالمنا الإسلامي، منوهًا بما تضمنته عباراتهم الصادقة من أن الأمة الإسلامية في دولها الوطنية لم تعرف مثل هذا العدوان الغاشم بجرأته وسوء تقديره.
A number of muftis and senior scholars of the Islamic world expressed their condemnation and denunciation of the brutal Iranian aggression against several Gulf, Arab, and Islamic countries, and what it targeted in residential areas and civilian entities, especially the blatant aggression against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which hosts the Qibla of Muslims and the Mosque of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the threats faced by its neighbors due to the risks of this aggression. They affirmed the full right of the countries that have been attacked to take measures that ensure the protection of their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and to deter the aggression.
They expressed, in communications and telegrams received by the Muslim World League, their deep pain from this unprecedented crime by a state considered Islamic against its neighbors who are not involved in military confrontation with it, affirming their complete support for everything issued by the League in this regard.
They confirmed that this heinous crime represents, in its legal description, a betrayal of the nation, a breach of the bonds of brotherhood, and treachery against neighbors, and that the pain of it is compounded when it comes from a country that ostensibly calls for the unity of the Islamic ranks and the enhancement of brotherhood, stressing that Islam is not merely slogans raised and phrases uttered, without a tangible practical effect that represents the values of Islam and reflects its reality, let alone what contradicts that from this blatant aggression.
They clarified that this aggression is not known to the Islamic nation in its values of brotherhood, nor in the strong ties that bind it, nor in its efforts for understanding and rapprochement, and that it can only be interpreted based on a buildup of ill intentions accompanied by losing bets, while paying the price for this are the aspirations of Islamic countries to strengthen the bonds of affection and activate the charter they pledged to upon the establishment of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
They emphasized that unless Iran stops its brutal attacks, it will face Islamic isolation followed by dangers and consequences led by a sentiment that harbors no goodwill and does not distinguish between truth and falsehood.
The Secretary-General of the League, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Muhammad Abdulkarim Al-Issa, expressed his deep appreciation for the feelings of Islamic brotherhood that are not surprising from the scholars of the nation, and what they included in their concern for the unity of the word and the enhancement of the bonds of affection in our Islamic world, noting what their sincere statements contained that the Islamic nation in its national states has not known such blatant aggression in its audacity and miscalculation.
