رحّبَت رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي بالبيان المشترك الصادر عن الاجتماع الوزاري التشاوري لوزراء خارجية مجموعة من الدول العربية والإسلامية المنعقِد في العاصمة الرياض، لبحث الاعتداءات الإيرانية على دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربي، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وجمهورية أذربيجان، وجمهورية تركيا.
وفي بيانٍ للأمانة العامة للرابطة، أعربَ الأمين العام، رئيسُ هيئة علماء المسلمين، الدكتور محمد عبدالكريم العيسى، عن تأييد الرابطة الكامل لِما جاء في البيان من إدانةٍ للاعتداءات الإيرانية السافرة على المناطق السكنية، والبنى التحتية المدنية والمقارّ الدبلوماسية، والتي تمثّل انتهاكًا صارخًا لكل القيم الدينية والقوانين والأعراف الدولية والإنسانية. وجدّدَ العيسى التأكيدَ على المجتمع الدولي بكافة مكوّناتِه بضرورة التصدّي لهذا الانفلات بكلّ حزم، وإلزام إيران بتنفيذ قرار مجلس الأمن، رقم 2817، ووقف ممارساتها العدوانية التي تستهدف دول الجوار، وتزعزع الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة والعالم.
The Muslim World League welcomed the joint statement issued by the consultative ministerial meeting of the foreign ministers of a group of Arab and Islamic countries held in the capital, Riyadh, to discuss the Iranian assaults on the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Turkey.
In a statement from the League’s General Secretariat, the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Issa, expressed the League’s full support for the condemnation of the blatant Iranian assaults on residential areas, civilian infrastructure, and diplomatic missions, which represent a flagrant violation of all religious values and international and humanitarian laws and norms. Al-Issa reiterated the necessity for the international community, in all its components, to confront this lawlessness decisively and to compel Iran to implement Security Council Resolution 2817 and to halt its aggressive practices targeting neighboring countries, which undermine security and stability in the region and the world.
