أعلنت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني في الكويت، اليوم (السبت)، إصابة نظام رادار المطار بعد تعرضه لهجوم بعدة طائرات مسيرة.
ونقلت الهيئة في بيان صحفي، عن المتحدث باسمها عبدالله الراجحي، أنه في مساء اليوم (السبت) تعرّض مطار الكويت الدولي لاستهداف من قبل عدة طائرات مسيرة أصابت نظام رادار المطار، دون تسجيل إصابات بشرية، موضحة أنه تم التعامل مع الحادثة وفق خطة الطوارئ المعمول بها منذ بداية الأزمة، وبالتنسيق الكامل مع الجهات المختصة في الدولة.
وأشارت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني إلى حرصها الدائم على اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة للحفاظ على أمن وسلامة الطيران المدني في دولة الكويت.
وفي الإمارات، أعلن المكتب الإعلامي لحكومة الفجيرة أن الجهات المختصة ما زالت مستمرة في التعامل مع الحريق الناجم عن سقوط شظايا إثر الاعتراضات الناجحة للدفاعات الجوية في منطقة الفجيرة للصناعات البترولية.
وقال المكتب الإعلامي في بيان إنه تم تسجيل إصابة بسيطة لشخص من الجنسية الأردنية، مطالباً الجمهور بعدم تداول الشائعات واستقاء المعلومات من مصادرها الرسمية.
The General Directorate of Civil Aviation in Kuwait announced today (Saturday) that the airport radar system was damaged after being targeted by several drones.
The authority stated in a press release, quoting its spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi, that this evening (Saturday), Kuwait International Airport was targeted by several drones that hit the airport radar system, without any reported injuries. It clarified that the incident was handled according to the emergency plan in place since the beginning of the crisis, in full coordination with the relevant authorities in the country.
The General Directorate of Civil Aviation emphasized its continuous commitment to taking all necessary measures to ensure the security and safety of civil aviation in the State of Kuwait.
In the UAE, the media office of the Fujairah Government announced that the relevant authorities are still working to address the fire resulting from debris after successful interceptions by air defenses in the Fujairah oil industries area.
The media office stated in a statement that a minor injury was recorded for a person of Jordanian nationality, urging the public not to circulate rumors and to obtain information from official sources.
