يشترك المتحف والمعرض في هدف واحد: إحياء الذاكرة الإسلامية وتقديمها للأجيال بأسلوب معاصر يجمع بين الأصالة والابتكار.
فهما يقدمان نموذجًا متكاملًا لقراءة التاريخ الإسلامي من منظور اقتصادي وفني ومعماري، ويعكسان حرص المملكة على صون هذا الإرث الحضاري وإبرازه للعالم.
تواصل المملكة العربية السعودية تعزيز حضورها الثقافي من خلال مبادرات نوعية تُبرز عمق التراث الإسلامي وتاريخه الممتد، ومن أبرز هذه المبادرات متحف دار الفنون الإسلامية في جدة بارك ومعرض عمارة المسجد النبوي في المدينة المنورة، اللذان يشكّلان منصتين معرفيتين تعكسان ثراء الحضارة الإسلامية وتطورها عبر الزمن.
يقدّم المتحف في جدة بارك تجربة فريدة تستعرض تاريخ النقود الإسلامية منذ بدايات الدولة الإسلامية وحتى العصور المتأخرة، عبر آلاف القطع النقدية النادرة التي تحمل نقوشًا خطية وأسماء خلفاء وسلاطين ودور ضرب في مدن إسلامية عريقة.
ولا تقتصر أهمية هذه العملات على قيمتها المادية، بل تُعد وثائق تاريخية تكشف تطور الخط العربي والزخرفة، وتروي مسيرة التجارة واتساع رقعة الحضارة الإسلامية. كما يضم المتحف تحفًا فنية وقطعًا أثرية تُعرض بأساليب حديثة تمزج بين المعرفة والمتعة البصرية.
وفي المدينة المنورة، يقدّم معرض عمارة المسجد النبوي رحلة معرفية تُعرّف الزائر بتاريخ بناء المسجد الشريف وتوسعاته المتعاقبة منذ عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، مرورًا بالخلفاء الراشدين والعصور الإسلامية المختلفة، وصولًا إلى التوسعات الكبرى في العهد السعودي.
ويضم المعرض مجسمات ومخططات وصورًا تاريخية، إضافة إلى عرض أبرز معالم المسجد مثل المنبر والمحراب والقباب والمظلات، مع توظيف تقنيات تفاعلية حديثة تعزز فهم الزائر للجوانب المعمارية والهندسية للمسجد النبوي.

They provide a comprehensive model for reading Islamic history from an economic, artistic, and architectural perspective, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving this cultural heritage and showcasing it to the world.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to enhance its cultural presence through qualitative initiatives that highlight the depth of Islamic heritage and its extensive history. Among the most prominent of these initiatives is the Museum of Islamic Arts in Jeddah Park and the Exhibition of the Prophet’s Mosque Architecture in Medina, both of which serve as knowledge platforms that reflect the richness of Islamic civilization and its evolution over time.
The museum in Jeddah Park offers a unique experience that showcases the history of Islamic currency from the beginnings of the Islamic state to later periods, through thousands of rare coins that bear inscriptions and the names of caliphs, sultans, and mints in ancient Islamic cities.
The significance of these coins goes beyond their material value; they are historical documents that reveal the development of Arabic calligraphy and ornamentation, narrating the journey of trade and the expansion of Islamic civilization. The museum also includes artistic masterpieces and archaeological pieces displayed in modern ways that blend knowledge with visual enjoyment.
In Medina, the Exhibition of the Prophet’s Mosque Architecture offers a knowledge journey that introduces visitors to the history of the mosque’s construction and its successive expansions since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), through the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and various Islamic periods, up to the major expansions during the Saudi era.
The exhibition features models, plans, and historical images, in addition to showcasing the mosque’s most prominent features such as the pulpit, mihrab, domes, and canopies, utilizing modern interactive technologies that enhance the visitor’s understanding of the architectural and engineering aspects of the Prophet’s Mosque.
