أثار الفنان المصري كريم محمود عبدالعزيز موجة واسعة من الجدل، بعدما ألمح عبر حسابه الرسمي على «إنستغرام» إلى أن مسلسله المرتقب «المتر سمير» قد يكون آخر أعماله في الدراما التلفزيونية، ما فتح باب التكهنات حول نيته اعتزال الشاشة الصغيرة عقب موسم رمضان.

كلمات كريم جاءت مقتضبة لكنها لافتة، إذ أشار إلى أن «المتر سمير» سيكون العمل الدرامي الأخير له، دون توضيح ما إذا كان يقصد التوقف المؤقت أم الاعتزال الكامل، الأمر الذي دفع جمهوره إلى طرح تساؤلات واسعة حول مستقبله الفني.
