أعلن مجلس وزراء الإسكان والتعمير العرب اختيار المملكة العربية السعودية لرئاسة المكتب التنفيذي للمجلس للعامين 2026 – 2027م، وذلك خلال أعمال الدورة الـ42 التي استضافتها العاصمة القطرية الدوحة.
واعتمد المجلس، خلال اجتماعه، شعار يوم الإسكان العربي لعام 2026م، المقدم من المملكة، تحت عنوان «المرونة المجتمعية.. بناء مجتمعات قادرة على التكيف»، وهو شعار يسلّط الضوء على أهمية تعزيز الاستدامة الحضرية ورفع جاهزية المدن العربية لمواجهة التحديات المستقبلية.
ويأتي هذا الاختيار تأكيداً على توجه المجلس نحو تعزيز التنسيق العربي في مجالات الإسكان والتعمير، والاستفادة من التجارب المتنوعة للدول الأعضاء في تطوير السياسات السكنية والتخطيط الحضري، بما يسهم في تحقيق تنمية عمرانية متوازنة في المنطقة.
ومن المنتظر أن تعمل المملكة، من خلال رئاستها للمكتب التنفيذي، على دعم مبادرات العمل العربي المشترك، وتعزيز تبادل الخبرات الفنية والتنظيمية في مجالات التخطيط العمراني وتطوير الأنظمة والتشريعات العقارية، بما يساعد الدول العربية على بناء بيئات سكنية أكثر كفاءة واستدامة.
ويعكس اعتماد شعار يوم الإسكان العربي لعام 2026م، توجهاً عربياً موحداً نحو بناء مجتمعات قادرة على التكيف مع المتغيرات الاقتصادية والبيئية والاجتماعية، وتوفير سكن ملائم يسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة في المدن العربية.
The Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction announced the selection of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to chair the Executive Office of the Council for the years 2026 – 2027, during the 42nd session hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha.
During its meeting, the Council approved the logo for Arab Housing Day for the year 2026, presented by the Kingdom, under the title “Community Resilience.. Building Communities Capable of Adapting,” which highlights the importance of enhancing urban sustainability and increasing the readiness of Arab cities to face future challenges.
This selection reaffirms the Council’s direction towards enhancing Arab coordination in the fields of housing and construction, and benefiting from the diverse experiences of member states in developing housing policies and urban planning, contributing to achieving balanced urban development in the region.
The Kingdom is expected to work, through its presidency of the Executive Office, to support initiatives for Arab joint action and enhance the exchange of technical and organizational expertise in the fields of urban planning and the development of real estate systems and legislation, which will help Arab countries build more efficient and sustainable living environments.
The adoption of the logo for Arab Housing Day for the year 2026 reflects a unified Arab direction towards building communities capable of adapting to economic, environmental, and social changes, and providing adequate housing that contributes to improving the quality of life in Arab cities.
