دعت المحكمة العليا عموم المسلمين في جميع مناطق المملكة إلى تحرّي رؤية هلال رمضان المبارك، وذلك مساء غدٍ الثلاثاء 29 شعبان 1447هـ الموافق 17 فبراير 2026م، بحسب تقويم أم القرى.
وأوضحت المحكمة العليا، في بيانٍ لها، أنها تأمل ممّن يتمكّن من رؤية الهلال بالعين المجرّدة أو بواسطة المناظير أن يتقدم بإبلاغ أقرب محكمة لتسجيل شهادته، أو التواصل مع أقرب مركز للمساعدة في الوصول إلى المحكمة المختصة.
كما دعت المحكمة كل من لديه القدرة على الترائي إلى المشاركة في لجان الترائي المشكلة في مختلف المناطق؛ احتساباً للأجر والمساهمة في تحقيق التعاون على البر والتقوى، لما في ذلك من نفع لعموم المسلمين.
The Supreme Court has called upon all Muslims in all regions of the Kingdom to sight the crescent moon of the blessed month of Ramadan, on the evening of tomorrow, Tuesday, 29 Sha’ban 1447 AH, corresponding to February 17, 2026 AD, according to the Umm al-Qura calendar.
The Supreme Court clarified, in a statement, that it hopes those who are able to see the crescent with the naked eye or through telescopes will come forward to inform the nearest court to record their testimony, or to contact the nearest center for assistance in reaching the competent court.
The court also urged anyone who has the ability to sight the moon to participate in the moon sighting committees formed in various regions; seeking reward and contributing to cooperation in righteousness and piety, as this benefits all Muslims.
