اللهُ أكبر يا خليجٍ ضمّنا
سنوات ونحن نتغنى بهذه الأغنية كعمق وجودي، أغنية انبثقت مع انعقاد القمة الخليجية الخامسة بالكويت في ديسمبر من العام 1984.
أغنية ولدت بعد تأسيس مجلس التعاون لدُول الخليج العربية في 25 مايو ١٩٨١، ذلك المجلس الذي نهض على قوائم ستّ دول لتكوين تجمع خليجي إزاء أي تهديد خارجي، وتجمع إخوة متجانسين في الأنظمة والجوانب الثقافية والاقتصادية، وفي وقت التأسيس كانت الحرب الدائرة بين العراق وإيران حرباً فاتكة، وخطراً فادحاً على دول الجوار، بغض النظر عمّن يفوز بتلك الحرب، فصدام لديه نزعة توسعية، وإيران ذات نظام مصدّر للثورات، يحمل نوايا الانتصار على العراق لضم بقية دول الخليج، وكانت الرؤية السياسية إبان تلك الحرب، خلق كيان صلب يقف ضد أطماع أي منتصر من الحرب العراقية الإيرانية، فتأسّس مجلس التعاون الخليجي، ولم يمضِ وقت طويل حتى قام صدام حسين بالاستيلاء على دولة الكويت،
ومنذ ذلك العهد ومنطقتنا ملعب للأطماع، وفي كل زمن توضع الخطط والسيناريوهات للاستيلاء على خيرات دول الخليج، وفي كل زمن يثبت مجلس التعاون الخليجي قوة جبارة استعصت على كل القوى الطامعة في مقدّرات الدول السّت، ظل المجلس عصياً على اختراقه من خارج نطاق دول المجلس .
وقد انهارت كثير من التجمعات والتكتلات، وبقى المجلس شامخاً متعاوناً في صدّ أي معتدٍ .
ومن قريب ومن بعيد كانت الخطط الساعية لتفريق هذا التجمع تتنوع وتتشكّل، ومع كل تجربة تعود أواصر الأخوّة تنتصر، واليقين أن كلاً منها مستهدف إن كان فرداً، وألّا وجود إلا بتجمع الدول السّت في كل شيء، من غير ارتهانٍ للعظمة الفردية، بل للعظمة الجماعية.
وها هي الحرب الراهنة تثبت ذلك كبرهان ناصع الدلالة لا يقبل التكذيب.
وقد صدق القائد المحنك المهلب بن أبي صفرة ( ٧٨ للهجرة) حين أخبر أبناءه بالوصية العظيمة:
تأبى الرماحُ إذا اجتمعنَ تكسّراً *** وإذا افترقنَ تكسّرت آحاداً

God is the Greatest, O Gulf that embraced us
For years we have been singing this song as a profound existence, a song that emerged with the convening of the fifth Gulf summit in Kuwait in December 1984.
A song born after the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council on May 25, 1981, a council that rose on the foundations of six countries to form a Gulf bloc against any external threat, a gathering of brothers unified in systems, cultural and economic aspects. At the time of its establishment, the war raging between Iraq and Iran was a devastating conflict, posing a grave danger to neighboring countries, regardless of who would win that war. Saddam had expansionist tendencies, and Iran had a regime that exported revolutions, harboring intentions to triumph over Iraq to annex the rest of the Gulf states. The political vision during that war was to create a solid entity that would stand against the ambitions of any victor from the Iran-Iraq war, thus the Gulf Cooperation Council was established. It wasn’t long before Saddam Hussein seized the state of Kuwait,
and since that time, our region has been a playground for ambitions, with plans and scenarios laid out in every era to seize the wealth of the Gulf states. In every era, the Gulf Cooperation Council has proven to be a formidable force that has resisted all the greedy powers targeting the resources of the six countries, remaining impervious to infiltration from outside the council’s member states.
Many associations and blocs have collapsed, yet the council has remained proud and cooperative in repelling any aggressor.
From near and far, plans aimed at dividing this gathering have varied and taken shape, and with each experience, the bonds of brotherhood prevail. The certainty is that each one of them is targeted, whether as an individual, and that there is no existence except through the gathering of the six countries in everything, without being beholden to individual greatness, but rather to collective greatness.
And here the current war proves this as a clear evidence that cannot be denied.
The seasoned leader Al-Muhallab bin Abi Sufra (78 AH) was right when he informed his sons with the great advice:
The arrows refuse to break when they gather *** But when they scatter, they break individually
