أكد مجلس الوزراء برئاسة خادم الحرمين الشريفين، أمس (الثلاثاء)، الدعم الكامل لمخرجات اجتماع «التحالف الدولي لهزيمة تنظيم داعش»، الذي استضافته السعودية. وشدد المجلس على أهمية مواصلة الجهود الدولية، واتخاذ خطوات عملية لمواجهة الإرهاب العابر للحدود.
وطبقاً للتحالف الواسع، تم الاتفاق على التصدّي لتنظيم داعش على الجبهات كافة وتدميره؛ لتحقيق الاستقرار، ومكافحة دعاية التنظيم، وتجفيف منابع تمويله.
وينطلق موقف السعودية في هذا الجانب من نهجها الثابت ضد الإرهاب بأشكاله وتنظيماته كافة، إذ بذلت في ذلك جهوداً كبيرة على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي؛ لدعم الاستقرار، وإعادة إعمار البنى التحتية للمناطق، التي اجتاحتها التنظيمات الإرهابية. كما أنشأت السعودية عدداً من المراكز التي تعمل على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي بمختلف الجوانب؛ لمكافحة الرسائل المتطرفة، وتقديم حملات توعية إلى المجتمعات الضعيفة؛ لتخفيف تأثير ماكينة داعش الإعلامية، وتبصير المجتمعات كافة بسماحة الدين الإسلامي ووسطيته، والتأكيد في كل المحافل أن التنظيمات الإرهابية المتطرفة لا تمثّل الإسلام واعتداله.
The Council of Ministers, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, confirmed yesterday (Tuesday) its full support for the outcomes of the meeting of the “International Coalition to Defeat ISIS,” which was hosted by Saudi Arabia. The council emphasized the importance of continuing international efforts and taking practical steps to combat cross-border terrorism.
According to the broad coalition, an agreement was reached to confront ISIS on all fronts and to destroy it, in order to achieve stability, combat the organization’s propaganda, and dry up its funding sources.
Saudi Arabia’s position in this regard stems from its unwavering approach against terrorism in all its forms and organizations. It has made significant efforts at both the local and international levels to support stability and reconstruct the infrastructure of areas that have been ravaged by terrorist organizations. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has established a number of centers that operate at the regional and international levels in various aspects to combat extremist messages and provide awareness campaigns to vulnerable communities, in order to mitigate the impact of ISIS’s media machine, and to enlighten all communities about the tolerance and moderation of the Islamic religion, while affirming in all forums that extremist terrorist organizations do not represent Islam and its moderation.
