دخل نجم مانشستر يونايتد كاسيميرو دائرة اهتمامات نادي الاتحاد لتدعيم خط الوسط في الموسم القادم في صفقة انتقال حر، تحسباً لرحيل لاعبه فابينيو، بحسب ما أوردته شبكة «ESPN».
وكان اللاعب البرازيلي قد أعلن في يناير الماضي أنه سيغادر مانشستر يونايتد بمجرد انتهاء عقده في 30 يونيو القادم، دون الكشف عن وجهته القادمة.

وأوضحت الشبكة أن التعاقد المحتمل مع كاسيميرو مرتبط بمستقبل فابينيو نفسه، إذ من المقرر أن ينتهي عقد لاعب خط الوسط فابينيو بنهاية الموسم الجاري، وفي حال عدم التجديد ستتجه إدارة الاتحاد إلى مواطنه.

وكانت جماهير مانشستر يونايتد قد هتفت «عام آخر» للنجم البرازيلي بعد أن سجل هدفاً في الفوز 3-1 على أستون فيلا في 15 مارس، لكن الشبكة العالمية أفادت بأنه من غير المرجح أن يتراجع كاسيميرو عن قراره.
