دعا الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الإثنين) الدول المستفيدة من النفط الذي يمر عبر مضيق هرمز إلى المشاركة في تأمينه، معلناً عن تلقيه بلاغات من دول عديدة بأنها في الطريق إلى “هرمز”.
وقال ترمب، خلال مؤتمر صحفي، إن بعض الدول متحمسة للمشاركة في تأمين المضيق، وبعضها تفتقر للحماسة، مضيفاً: «كنت أعلم أن إيران ستستخدم المضيق كسلاح».
وأشار إلى إن الولايات المتحدة ضربت أكثر من 7000 هدف في إيران، أغلبها أهداف تجارية وعسكرية في الأغلب، مبيناً أن الضربات العسكرية الأمريكية دمرت 30 من سفن إيرانية تقوم بزراعة الألغام في مضيق هرمز، وأغرقت أكثر من 100 سفينة.
وشدد بالقول: «قضينا على البحرية الإيرانية وأغرقنا كثيراً من سفنها، كما قضينا على سلاح الجو والبحرية التابعة لإيران وكذلك منظومات الدفاع الجوي والرادار».
وأكد ترمب أن قواته «استهدفت اليوم 3 مواقع تصنع فيها إيران الصواريخ والمسيرات»، مبيناً أن إيران تطلق حالياً الصواريخ بأعداد ضئيلة جداً لأنها لم يعد لديها الكثير منها.
وقال ترمب: «رأينا انخفاضاً بنسبة 90% في إطلاق الصواريخ الباليستية الإيرانية وبنسبة 95% في هجمات المسيرات»، موضحاً أن العملية العسكرية على إيران مستمرة بكامل قوتها.
ولفت إلى أنه يتعامل حالياً مع نمر ورقي في إيران ولم يكن الأمر كذلك قبل أسبوعين، مبيناً أن الضربات الإضافية التي تشن من الاتجاهات كافة تتواصل على إيران ساعة تلو الأخرى.
وأكد ترمب أن قواته تقوم بتفكيك القاعدة الإيرانية لتصنيع الصواريخ والمسيرات، مشدداً بالقول: «لم يعد لدى إيران كثير من الصواريخ كما أننا قضينا على مواقع التصنيع»، وحول استهداف أنابيب النفط في جزيرة خارك قال ترمب: «عدم استهدافنا لأنابيب النفط في جزيرة خارك قد لا يستمر وبمجرد كلمة مني ستختفي أنابيب النفط فيها».
وأضاف: «لم نكن نرغب في تدمير أنابيب النفط في جزيرة خارك لكننا قادرون على فعل ذلك»، موضحاً أنه كان من أكبر منتقدي الدول التي نحميها لأننا حين نحتاج إلى مساعدتها لا نجدها.
U.S. President Donald Trump today (Monday) called on the countries benefiting from the oil that passes through the Strait of Hormuz to participate in securing it, announcing that he has received reports from several countries that they are on their way to “Hormuz.”
Trump stated during a press conference that some countries are eager to participate in securing the strait, while others lack enthusiasm, adding: “I knew that Iran would use the strait as a weapon.”
He pointed out that the United States has struck more than 7,000 targets in Iran, most of which are primarily commercial and military targets, indicating that U.S. military strikes have destroyed 30 Iranian ships that were laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz and sunk more than 100 vessels.
He emphasized by saying: “We have eliminated the Iranian navy and sunk many of its ships, as well as destroyed Iran’s air force and navy, along with its air defense and radar systems.”
Trump confirmed that his forces “targeted today 3 sites where Iran manufactures missiles and drones,” indicating that Iran is currently launching missiles in very small numbers because it no longer has many of them.
He said: “We have seen a 90% decrease in Iranian ballistic missile launches and a 95% decrease in drone attacks,” clarifying that the military operation against Iran continues at full strength.
He noted that he is currently dealing with a paper tiger in Iran, which was not the case two weeks ago, indicating that additional strikes from all directions continue against Iran hour by hour.
Trump confirmed that his forces are dismantling the Iranian base for manufacturing missiles and drones, stressing: “Iran no longer has many missiles, and we have eliminated manufacturing sites,” regarding the targeting of oil pipelines on Khark Island, Trump said: “Our not targeting the oil pipelines on Khark Island may not last, and with just one word from me, the oil pipelines there will disappear.”
He added: “We did not want to destroy the oil pipelines on Khark Island, but we are capable of doing so,” explaining that he has been one of the biggest critics of the countries we protect because when we need their help, we do not find it.
