أكد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أن بلاده لن تتوقف في حربها مع إيران حتى تنهي مهمتها.
وقال ترمب خلال تجمع في كنتاكي: «جيشنا دمّر إيران بشكل شبه كامل على مدى الأيام الـ11 الماضية»، موضحاً أن قواته دمّرت إيران وتم القضاء على سلاح الجو لديها.
وأشار إلى أن إدارته تعمل على ضمان استمرار تدفق النفط، معلناً تدمير 54 سفينة إيرانية و31 أخرى خاصة بزرع الألغام.
وأضاف: «نتخذ إجراءات حاسمة لوقف التهديد الذي يشكله النظام الإرهابي في إيران من خلال عملية الغضب الملحمي»، مشيراً إلى أن اتفاقه السابق مع إيران أعطاها فرصة بناء سلاح نووي «لو لم ألغِ الاتفاق لكانت قد استطاعت تحقيق ذلك».
ولفت إلى أن وكالة الطاقة الدولية وافقت على تنسيق سحب قياسي لـ400 مليون برميل نفط من الاحتياطيات العالمية.
وكان ترمب قد أعلن في وقت سابق اليوم، أن الحرب على إيران ستنتهي قريباً، مؤكداً أن الأمر مرتبط بقراره.
ونقل موقع «أكسيوس» عن الرئيس الأمريكي قوله إن الحرب على إيران ستنتهي قريباً، مضيفاً: «عندما أريد أن تنتهي فستنتهي».
وأشار إلى أنه «لم يتبقَ عملياً الكثير من الأهداف لضربها في إيران»، مبيناً أن «الحرب تسير بشكل رائع».
وأضاف ترمب: «نحن متقدمون كثيراً على الجدول الزمني، لقد ألحقنا أضراراً أكبر مما كنا نعتقد، حتى مقارنة بالخطة الأصلية التي كانت تمتد لستة أسابيع».
وشدد بالقول: «لقد كانوا يطمعون في بقية الشرق الأوسط، إنهم يدفعون ثمن 47 عاماً من الموت والدمار الذي تسببوا فيه، هذا هو الجزاء، لن يفلتوا من العقاب بهذه السهولة».
وأشار إلى أن الحرب التي تخوضها بلاده ضد إيران «أسهل مما كنا نتوقع»، مبيناً أن الجيش الأمريكي يضرب إيران بقوة كبيرة جداً، وأن الولايات المتحدة يمكنها ضرب أهداف أكثر داخل إيران إذا أرادت، وأن العمليات العسكرية ضد إيران لم تنتهِ بعد.
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that his country will not stop its war with Iran until it completes its mission.
Trump said during a rally in Kentucky: “Our military has nearly destroyed Iran over the past 11 days,” explaining that his forces have destroyed Iran and eliminated its air force.
He pointed out that his administration is working to ensure the continued flow of oil, announcing the destruction of 54 Iranian ships and 31 others used for laying mines.
He added: “We are taking decisive action to stop the threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran through the epic wrath operation,” noting that his previous agreement with Iran gave it the opportunity to build a nuclear weapon, “if I hadn’t canceled the agreement, they would have been able to achieve that.”
He highlighted that the International Energy Agency has agreed to coordinate a record withdrawal of 400 million barrels of oil from global reserves.
Earlier today, Trump announced that the war on Iran would end soon, emphasizing that it is related to his decision.
The Axios website quoted the U.S. president as saying that the war on Iran will end soon, adding: “When I want it to end, it will end.”
He noted that “there are practically not many targets left to hit in Iran,” indicating that “the war is going wonderfully.”
Trump added: “We are far ahead of schedule; we have inflicted more damage than we thought, even compared to the original plan that was supposed to last six weeks.”
He emphasized by saying: “They were coveting the rest of the Middle East; they are paying the price for 47 years of death and destruction that they caused, this is the punishment, they will not escape punishment so easily.”
He pointed out that the war his country is waging against Iran is “easier than we expected,” explaining that the U.S. military is hitting Iran with very great force, and that the United States can strike more targets inside Iran if it wants, and that military operations against Iran are not over yet.
