دعا الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب الدول المتضررة من إغلاق مضيق هرمز إلى الذهاب والسيطرة على الممر الحيوي الذي يمر عبره خمس شحنات النفط والغاز حول العالم.
وقال ترمب في منشور على «تروث سوشال»، اليوم الثلاثاء: على الدول المتضررة خصوصاً بريطانيا الذهاب إلى مضيق هرمز والسيطرة عليه. وخاطب الدول التي ترفض المشاركة في تأمين هرمز، بقوله: «لن نساعدكم مجدداً».
وأفاد ترمب بأنه «على الدول التي لا تستطيع الحصول على النفط الذهاب إلى هرمز والسيطرة عليه، أو شرائه من أمريكا، معتبراً أن بلاده أنجزت الجزء الأصعب من المهمة في إيران، وفق تعبيره.
وانتقد الرئيس الأمريكي فرنسا، قائلاً في منشور ثانٍ إنها «لم تسمح للطائرات المتجهة إلى إسرائيل، والمحملة بالإمدادات العسكرية، بالتحليق فوق أراضيها». وقال: «لقد كانت فرنسا غير متعاونة على الإطلاق فيما يتعلق بجزار إيران الذي تم القضاء عليه بنجاح». وحذر من أن «الولايات المتحدة لن تنسى ذلك!».
وكان مسؤول إيطالي، كشف أن بلاده رفضت السماح لمقاتلات أمريكية بالهبوط في صقلية، فيما أعلن المتحدث باسم الخارجية القطرية ماجد بن محمد الأنصاري، أن الدول العربية اتفقت على العمل المشترك فيما يتعلق بمسألة ضمان حركة الملاحة في مضيق هرمز.
وقال في إحاطة إعلامية، اليوم، إنه فيما يتعلق بإمكانية إبرام الدوحة اتفاقيات فردية قصيرة الأجل مع طهران بشأن عبور سفنها، فقد تبنت دول المنطقة موقفاً موحداً. وأضاف أن دول الخليج قررت دراسة هذه المسألة بشكل جماعي، ولا تعتزم التصرف بشكل فردي، معرباً عن أمله في تسوية سريعة للأزمة حول إيران.
ومنذ تفجرت الحرب في 28 فبراير الماضي بين إيران وأمريكا وإسرائيل، وجه ترمب مراراً انتقادات إلى الدول الأوروبية بعد رفض أغلبها إرسال قوات بحرية وسفن من أجل تأمين مضيق هرمز.
وهدد أكثر من مرة إيران ومنحها مهلة حتى الـ6 من أبريل المقبل من أجل فتح المضيق، الذي أدى شلل الحركة فيه إلى ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة عالمياً.
وكان مسؤولون أمريكيون، أفادوا بأن الرئيس ترمب قد ينهي الحرب قريباً، حتى دون فتح المضيق الحيوي، وفق ما نقلت صحيفة «وول ستريت جورنال».
U.S. President Donald Trump called on countries affected by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz to go and take control of the vital passage through which five shipments of oil and gas pass around the world.
Trump said in a post on “Truth Social” today, Tuesday: Countries affected, especially Britain, should go to the Strait of Hormuz and take control of it. He addressed the countries that refuse to participate in securing Hormuz, saying: “We will not help you again.”
Trump stated that “countries that cannot obtain oil should go to Hormuz and take control of it, or buy it from America,” considering that his country has accomplished the hardest part of the mission in Iran, as he put it.
The U.S. president criticized France, saying in a second post that it “did not allow planes heading to Israel, carrying military supplies, to fly over its territory.” He said: “France has been completely uncooperative regarding the butcher of Iran who was successfully eliminated.” He warned that “the United States will not forget that!”
An Italian official revealed that his country refused to allow U.S. fighter jets to land in Sicily, while the spokesperson for the Qatari foreign ministry, Majid bin Mohammed Al-Ansari, announced that Arab countries agreed to work together regarding the issue of ensuring navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
He said in a media briefing today that regarding the possibility of Doha concluding short-term individual agreements with Tehran concerning the passage of its ships, the countries in the region have adopted a unified position. He added that Gulf countries decided to study this issue collectively and do not intend to act individually, expressing hope for a quick resolution to the crisis surrounding Iran.
Since the war erupted on February 28 between Iran, America, and Israel, Trump has repeatedly criticized European countries after most of them refused to send naval forces and ships to secure the Strait of Hormuz.
He has threatened Iran multiple times and gave it a deadline until April 6 to open the strait, the paralysis of movement in which has led to a rise in global energy prices.
U.S. officials have indicated that President Trump may end the war soon, even without opening the vital strait, according to what the “Wall Street Journal” reported.
