توفيت سلوى القدسي خطيبة فريد الأطرش عن عمر يناهز 87 عاماً في منزلها ببيروت، بعد تعرضها لوعكة صحية.

والراحلة خطيبة الموسيقار الراحل فريد الأطرش، وسبق أن تحدثت سلوى القدسي في لقاءات إعلامية عن تفاصيل الأيام الأخيرة في حياة فريد الأطرش، مشيرة إلى أنه كان في حالة هدوء قبل وفاته، استمع إلى الموسيقى، وأدى الصلاة قبل أن تفيض روحه.

وسلوى القدسي سيدة لبنانية، حملت لقب «القدسي» من زوجها السابق الطبيب اللبناني نورالدين القدسي، وارتبطت بالموسيقار فريد الأطرش في السبعينات بعد طلاقها، وكانت تصغره بـ 30 عاماً.
دخلت القدسي، بعد وفاة فريد الأطرش وتحديداً عام 1975، في نزاع قضائي حول ميراثه بعد ظهور عقد زواج عرفي جمعها به، وتعرضت
لهجوم من فؤاد الأطرش (شقيق الموسيقار الراحل) وسكرتيره دينيس جبور، وحاولت إثبات صحة زواجها أمام المحاكم في لبنان ومصر.
وأكدت سلوى القدسي في تصريحات سابقة وفاة فريد الأطرش بين يديها في مستشفى الحايك ببيروت، قبل تنفيذ وصيته بالدفن في البساتين بالقاهرة في ديسمبر 1974.

The deceased was the fiancée of the late musician Farid Al-Atrash, and Salwa Al-Qudsiy had previously spoken in media interviews about the details of the last days in Farid Al-Atrash’s life, indicating that he was in a state of calm before his death, listening to music and praying before his soul departed.
Salwa Al-Qudsiy
Salwa Al-Qudsiy was a Lebanese woman, who carried the title “Al-Qudsiy” from her former husband, the Lebanese doctor Nour Al-Din Al-Qudsiy. She became associated with the musician Farid Al-Atrash in the 1970s after her divorce, and she was 30 years younger than him.
After the death of Farid Al-Atrash, specifically in 1975, Al-Qudsiy entered into a legal dispute over his inheritance after a marriage contract was revealed that linked her to him. She faced
attacks from Fouad Al-Atrash (the late musician’s brother) and his secretary Denis Jabbour, and she tried to prove the validity of her marriage in courts in Lebanon and Egypt.
Salwa Al-Qudsiy confirmed in previous statements that Farid Al-Atrash died in her hands at Al-Haik Hospital in Beirut, before fulfilling his wish to be buried in Al-Basatin in Cairo in December 1974.
