نبَّه مركز الأرصاد بالمنطقة الشرقية، اليوم، من موجة ضباب على المنطقة، تشمل مدينة الدمام، والظهران، ومحافظة الخفجي، والنعيرية، وقرية العليا، والجبيل، ورأس تنورة، والقطيف، والخبر، وبقيق، والأحساء، والعديد، مما يتسبّب في إثارة الأتربة وشبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية (1 – 3) كلم في الطرق السريعة والمناطق المفتوحة.
وقال المركز إن هذه الحالة تستمر إلى الساعة الـ 9:00 صباحاً.
وكان المركز توقع في تقرير اليومي أن تكون الفرصة مهيأة لهطول أمطار رعدية مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على أجزاء من المنطقة الشرقية، وتكوّن الضباب على أجزاء منها، في حين يستمر تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من منطقتي الجوف والحدود الشمالية.
The Eastern Province Meteorological Center warned today of a wave of fog in the region, including the cities of Dammam, Dhahran, and the governorates of Al Khobar, Al Khafji, Al Nairiyah, Al Ulya, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Qatif, and Al Ahsa, as well as several other areas, which may cause dust to rise and nearly zero horizontal visibility (1 – 3) km on highways and open areas.
The center stated that this condition will last until 9:00 AM.
The center had anticipated in its daily report that there would be a chance of thunderstorm rains accompanied by hail showers and active winds in parts of the Eastern Province, as well as fog formation in some areas, while the effects of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of the Al Jouf and Northern Borders regions.
