أعلن القائد العسكري الحاكم في مدغشقر، ميشيل راندريانيرينا، الخميس، إلزام جميع المرشحين لتولي مناصب وزارية في الحكومة الجديدة باجتياز اختبارات كشف الكذب، في خطوة تهدف إلى استبعاد العناصر الفاسدة.
وأوضح راندريانيرينا أن بلاده استقدمت جهاز “بوليغراف” وخبيراً متخصصاً لتشغيله، من أجل تدقيق خلفيات الوزراء المحتملين، مضيفاً: “نريد التمييز بين الفاسد ومن يمكنه تقديم العون، ولسنا بصدد البحث عن شخص نقي بنسبة 100%، بل من تزيد نسبة نزاهته على 60%”.
وكان راندريانيرينا، وهو عقيد في وحدة عسكرية نخبوية، قد قاد انقلاباً في أكتوبر الماضي أطاح بالرئيس السابق أندريه راجولينا، عقب احتجاجات شعبية على تدهور الخدمات وارتفاع معدلات الفقر في البلاد.
وفي إطار إعادة تشكيل السلطة، أقال الرئيس الأسبوع الماضي حكومته بالكامل وعيّن رئيس وزراء جديداً، مؤكداً أن من يفشل في اختبار كشف الكذب لن يُسمح له حتى بإجراء مقابلة للمنصب، فيما سيُستدعى الناجحون للقاءه مع رئيس الوزراء.
وتعهد راندريانيرينا بإجراء انتخابات عامة خلال عامين.
The military leader ruling Madagascar, Michel Randrianirina, announced on Thursday that all candidates for ministerial positions in the new government must pass lie detector tests, in a move aimed at excluding corrupt elements.
Randrianirina explained that his country has brought in a “polygraph” device and a specialized expert to operate it, in order to scrutinize the backgrounds of potential ministers, adding: “We want to distinguish between the corrupt and those who can provide assistance, and we are not looking for someone who is 100% pure, but rather someone whose integrity exceeds 60%.”
Randrianirina, a colonel in an elite military unit, led a coup last October that ousted former president Andry Rajoelina, following popular protests over deteriorating services and rising poverty rates in the country.
As part of the power reshuffle, the president dismissed his entire government last week and appointed a new prime minister, emphasizing that those who fail the lie detector test will not even be allowed to interview for the position, while successful candidates will be summoned to meet him and the prime minister.
Randrianirina pledged to hold general elections within two years.
