ارتفعت أسعار السيارات المستعملة في الولايات المتحدة إلى أعلى مستوياتها منذ صيف 2023، مدفوعة باستمرار قوة الطلب في ظل محدودية المعروض.
وصعد مؤشر «مانهايم» لأسعار السيارات المستعملة الصادر عن إحدى الشركات المتخصصة بنسبة 6.2% على أساس سنوي إلى 215.3 نقطة خلال شهر مارس الماضي.
توترات جيوسياسية
وتشير البيانات إلى أن الطلب على السيارات المستعملة لا يزال قوياً، رغم التوترات الجيوسياسية وارتفاع أسعار الوقود في ظل تداعيات الحرب مع إيران؛ ما يعكس مرونة إنفاق المستهلكين في هذا القطاع.
وقال كبير الاقتصاديين لدى الشركة «جيريمي روب» في بيان: «إن التوقعات كانت تشير إلى احتمال تأثر الطلب بالأحداث في الشرق الأوسط، إلا أن البيانات الحالية تؤكد استمرار قوة السوق».
The prices of used cars in the United States have risen to their highest levels since the summer of 2023, driven by continued strong demand amid limited supply.
The Mannheim Used Car Price Index, issued by a specialized company, increased by 6.2% year-on-year to 215.3 points during March.
Geopolitical Tensions
Data indicates that the demand for used cars remains strong, despite geopolitical tensions and rising fuel prices due to the repercussions of the war with Iran; reflecting the resilience of consumer spending in this sector.
Chief Economist at the company, Jeremy Rob, stated in a statement: “Expectations indicated that demand might be affected by events in the Middle East, but current data confirms the continued strength of the market.”
