في موقف يعكس تصعيداً سياسياً محسوباً، أكدت المتحدثة باسم الحكومة البريطانية جوسلين وولار أن إيران شنت خلال الأيام الثلاثة الماضية هجمات متواصلة في أنحاء المنطقة على دول لم تبادر بالاعتداء عليها، مشددة على أن لندن لن تلتزم الصمت إزاء تعريض أصدقائها وشركائها للخطر.
وجاءت الرسالة في فيديو مدته نحو دقيقتين نشرته عبر حسابها الرسمي على منصة «إكس»، وحمل التصريح رسائل دعم واضحة لدول المنطقة، وتحذيراً مباشراً لطهران.
امتنان لحماية المدنيين
وأوضحت وولار أن الدول المستهدفة تمثل أوطاناً مرحبة بمواطنين من جنسيات وخلفيات متعددة، من بينهم بريطانيون، معربة عن امتنان حكومة المملكة المتحدة للسلطات والقوات العسكرية في تلك الدول على جهودها الفاعلة في حماية المدنيين ودعمهم خلال هذه المرحلة الدقيقة.
وأكدت أن حماية الأرواح أولوية قصوى، وأن لندن تقدر التنسيق القائم مع شركائها الإقليميين في هذا الإطار.

وكشفت أن الطائرات البريطانية تنفذ حالياً طلعات جوية ضمن عمليات دفاعية منسقة، تمكنت بالفعل من اعتراض ضربات إيرانية، في إطار ما وصفته بإجراءات دفاعية بحتة تهدف إلى حماية الحلفاء واستقرار المنطقة.
استخدام قواعد بريطانية لأغراض محدودة
وأشارت إلى أن لندن سمحت للولايات المتحدة باستخدام قواعد عسكرية بريطانية لغرض دفاعي «محدد ومحدود»، يتمثل في استهداف مواقع تخزين الصواريخ والمنصات المستخدمة لإطلاقها نحو دول المنطقة، مؤكدة أن الخطوة تأتي ضمن نطاق ضيق يركز على تحييد مصادر التهديد المباشر.
دعوة لوقف «الضربات المتهورة»
وجددت الحكومة البريطانية موقفها الرافض لتفاقم الصراع أو تمدده بما يهدد استقرار المنطقة على المدى الطويل، داعية إيران إلى وقف ما وصفته بـ«الضربات المتهورة» والعودة إلى طاولة المفاوضات.

In a situation reflecting a calculated political escalation, British government spokesperson Jocelyn Waller confirmed that Iran has launched continuous attacks across the region over the past three days on countries that have not initiated aggression against it, emphasizing that London will not remain silent regarding the endangerment of its friends and partners.
The message came in a video lasting about two minutes that she posted on her official account on the platform “X,” carrying clear messages of support for the countries in the region, along with a direct warning to Tehran.
Gratitude for Protecting Civilians
Waller explained that the targeted countries represent homelands welcoming citizens from multiple nationalities and backgrounds, including Britons, expressing the United Kingdom’s gratitude to the authorities and military forces in those countries for their effective efforts in protecting and supporting civilians during this critical phase.
She affirmed that protecting lives is a top priority, and that London values the ongoing coordination with its regional partners in this regard.
Defensive Participation and Interception of Strikes
The spokesperson stressed that the United Kingdom has not participated in strikes on Iran, but it “will not stand idly by” if its friends or citizens are endangered.
She revealed that British aircraft are currently conducting aerial sorties as part of coordinated defensive operations, which have already succeeded in intercepting Iranian strikes, within what she described as purely defensive measures aimed at protecting allies and stabilizing the region.
