كشفت وسائل إعلام أمريكية اليوم (الأربعاء) عن مناقشات تجرى لاحتمال التوصل إلى وقف إطلاق النار بين أمريكا وإيران، مقابل إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز.
ونقل موقع «إكسيوس» عن مسؤولين أمريكيين قولهم: إن هناك مناقشات جارية بشأن احتمال التوصل إلى وقف إطلاق نار بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران مقابل إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز، موضحين أن الأمور ليست واضحة بما يكفي ما إذا كان يمكن التوصل إلى اتفاق.
وسطاء لوقف إطلاق النار
وذكر الموقع أن المسؤولين الأمريكيين لم يوضحوا ما إذا كانت المناقشات بشأن وقف إطلاق النار تجري مباشرة مع الإيرانيين أم عبر وسطاء آخرين، رغم أن إيران تنفي إجراء أي مفاوضات مباشرة مع واشنطن.
وذكر المسؤولون أن ترمب ناقش هذا الاحتمال مع مسؤولين داخل وخارج الإدارة الأمريكية، فيما أوضح مصدر مطلع لوكالة «رويترز» أن نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جيه دي فانس كان يتحدث مع وسطاء بشأن الصراع مع إيران (الثلاثاء).
رسالة فانس لإيران
وقال المصدر: الرئيس الأمريكي وجّه فانس لإبلاغ موقف بشكل خاص مفاده أنه منفتح على وقف إطلاق النار إذا تم تلبية مطالب أمريكية معينة، بما في ذلك إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز، مبيناً أن فانس نقل أيضاً ما وصفه بـ«رسالة حازمة»، مفادها أن ترمب أصبح غير صبور وسيصعّد الضغط على البنية التحتية الإيرانية إذا لم توافق طهران على اتفاق.
وأضاف أن باكستان تعمل وسيطاً بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران.
وأطلقت الصين وباكستان، أمس، مبادرة من 5 نقاط لاستعادة السلام والاستقرار في منطقة الخليج العربي والشرق الأوسط، تتضمن الوقف الفوري للأعمال العدائية، وبدء محادثات السلام في أقرب وقت ممكن، وضمان حماية المدنيين والأهداف غير العسكرية والبنية التحتية، وتأمين الممرات البحرية في مضيق هرمز، وتعزيز أولوية ميثاق الأمم المتحدة والقانون الدولي.
وكان ترمب قد قال في وقت سابق اليوم إن إيران طلبت من الولايات المتحدة وقف إطلاق النار، لكنه شدد على أنه سينظر في ذلك فقط إذا أُعيد فتح مضيق هرمز.

The website “Axios” reported that U.S. officials stated there are ongoing discussions about the possibility of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran in exchange for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, clarifying that the situation is not clear enough as to whether an agreement can be reached.
Mediators for the Ceasefire
The site mentioned that U.S. officials did not clarify whether the discussions regarding the ceasefire are taking place directly with the Iranians or through other intermediaries, although Iran denies conducting any direct negotiations with Washington.
Officials noted that Trump discussed this possibility with officials both inside and outside the U.S. administration, while a source familiar with the matter told Reuters that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance was speaking with mediators regarding the conflict with Iran (on Tuesday).
Vance’s Message to Iran
The source stated: The U.S. President directed Vance to convey a private message indicating that he is open to a ceasefire if certain U.S. demands are met, including the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, noting that Vance also conveyed what he described as a “firm message,” indicating that Trump has become impatient and will escalate pressure on Iranian infrastructure if Tehran does not agree to a deal.
He added that Pakistan is acting as a mediator between the United States and Iran.
China and Pakistan launched a five-point initiative yesterday to restore peace and stability in the Arabian Gulf and the Middle East, which includes an immediate cessation of hostilities, the commencement of peace talks as soon as possible, ensuring the protection of civilians and non-military targets and infrastructure, securing maritime corridors in the Strait of Hormuz, and enhancing the priority of the United Nations Charter and international law.
Trump had previously stated today that Iran requested the United States to cease fire, but he emphasized that he would only consider it if the Strait of Hormuz is reopened.
