سلّمت روسيا اليوم (الخميس) 1000 جثة لجنود من القوات الأوكرانية مقابل استلام 35 جثة لجنود روس، وفقاً لما أعلنه مساعد الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير ميدينسكي.
وقال ميدينسكي في منشور على قناته في «تليغرام»: «تسليم ألف جثة لجنود أوكران، مقابل استلام 35 جثة لجنود روس».
وكانت وزارة الخارجية الروسية أعلنت أن موسكو سلمت، منذ يونيو 2025، أكثر من 12 ألف جثة لجنود من القوات المسلحة الأوكرانية لكييف، واستلمت من كييف جثث أكثر من 200 جندي روسي، موضحة أنه تم إطلاق سراح أكثر من 4 آلاف شخص نتيجة 17 جولة من عمليات تبادل أسرى الحرب والمعتقلين بين روسيا وأوكرانيا.
وأوضحت مفوضة حقوق الإنسان الروسية، تاتيانا موسكالكوفا، للصحفيين أن أوكرانيا لا تزال تطالب بتسليم الأوكرانيين المتهمين بارتكاب جرائم في روسيا مقابل إجلاء المدنيين الروس من قبل القوات المسلحة الأوكرانية خلال احتلال جزء من مقاطعة كورسك.
وتتزامن عملية تبادل الجثامين، مع لقاء مرتقب بين المفاوض الأوكراني رستم عمروف في جنيف، والمبعوثين الأمريكيين ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر، اليوم.
وقال مسؤول أوكراني من المتوقع بدء المحادثات مع المبعوثين الأمريكيين ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر ظهر اليوم، فيما تشير التوقعات إلى أن الوفد الأوكراني لن يتحدث إلى وسائل الإعلام بعد ذلك.
Russia today (Thursday) handed over 1,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers in exchange for receiving 35 bodies of Russian soldiers, according to a statement by Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky.
Medinsky said in a post on his Telegram channel: “The delivery of a thousand bodies of Ukrainian soldiers, in exchange for receiving 35 bodies of Russian soldiers.”
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that since June 2025, Moscow has handed over more than 12,000 bodies of soldiers from the Ukrainian armed forces to Kyiv and received the bodies of more than 200 Russian soldiers from Kyiv, noting that more than 4,000 people have been released as a result of 17 rounds of prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine.
Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatiana Moskalkova explained to reporters that Ukraine is still demanding the handover of Ukrainians accused of committing crimes in Russia in exchange for the evacuation of Russian civilians by the Ukrainian armed forces during the occupation of part of the Kursk region.
The body exchange coincides with an anticipated meeting between Ukrainian negotiator Rustem Umerov in Geneva and American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner today.
An Ukrainian official stated that talks with American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to begin this afternoon, while forecasts suggest that the Ukrainian delegation will not speak to the media afterward.
