انتقل إلى رحمة الله في محافظة بلجرشي، مدير عام الزراعة والمياه في منطقتي الباحة وجازان سابقاً ساعد بن صعبان بن حسن الغامدي، وسيصلى عليه غداً (الإثنين)، في جامع الأمير محمد بن سعود في بلجرشي. والفقيد من مواليد قرية رحبان في جبل شدا الأسفل عام 1363هـ، وتعلم القرآن الكريم بالمدرسة القرعاوية في قرية الأشراف في جبل شدا الأسفل، ودرس المرحلة الابتدائية في مدرسة المحمدية في الرياض، والمتوسطة في مدرسة تحفيظ القرآن في الرياض، والثانوية في المعهد العلمي في مدينة الرياض، وتخرج من كلية اللغة العربية في جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود عام 1389هـ، ثم التحق بوظيفة في ديوان الخدمة المدنية عام 1386هـ، ثم مدير شؤون الموظفين في ديوان الخدمة المدنية، ثم نائب مدير عام التوظيف في ديوان الخدمة المدنية، وانتقل إلى وزارة الزراعة والمياه، إذ عمل مديراً عاماً للزراعة والمياه في منطقة الباحة لمدة 8 أعوام، وتمت ترقيته مديراً عاماً للزراعة والمياه في منطقة جازان، وانتقل للعمل في وزارة الزراعة مديراً عاماً لخدمات المياه، وعاد لمنطقة الباحة وعمل مدير الزراعة والمياه في محافظة بلجرشي لمدة إلى تقاعده عام 1423هـ. وللراحل 4 أبناء: أحمد، فني في مستشفى الملك فهد للقوات المسلّحة في جدة، ومعلم الأحياء محمد، وأخصائي إدارة المستشفيات عبدالله، ومعلم اللغة الإنجليزية أمجد، وله 4 بنات. وعُرف في الأوساط الإدارية والاجتماعية بحُسن الخُلق، ولين الجانب، وسخاء اليد، وعفة اللسان، والوفاء لكل الزملاء والأصدقاء. رحمه الله وإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
The Director General of Agriculture and Water in the regions of Al-Baha and Jazan, Saeed bin Sabaan bin Hassan Al-Ghamdi, passed away in the province of Baljurashi. He will be prayed upon tomorrow (Monday) at the Prince Mohammed bin Saud Mosque in Baljurashi. The deceased was born in the village of Rahban in Jabal Shada Al-Asfal in the year 1363 AH, and he learned the Holy Quran at the Al-Qar’awiya school in the village of Al-Ashraf in Jabal Shada Al-Asfal. He studied elementary school at Al-Muhammadiya School in Riyadh, middle school at the Quran Memorization School in Riyadh, and high school at the Scientific Institute in Riyadh. He graduated from the Faculty of Arabic Language at Imam Muhammad bin Saud University in the year 1389 AH. He then joined the Civil Service Bureau in the year 1386 AH, later becoming the Director of Employee Affairs at the Civil Service Bureau, then Deputy Director General of Employment at the Civil Service Bureau. He moved to the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, where he served as the Director General of Agriculture and Water in the Al-Baha region for 8 years, and was promoted to Director General of Agriculture and Water in the Jazan region. He then worked at the Ministry of Agriculture as the Director General of Water Services, returned to the Al-Baha region, and served as the Director of Agriculture and Water in the province of Baljurashi until his retirement in the year 1423 AH. The deceased is survived by 4 sons: Ahmed, a technician at King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah, biology teacher Mohammed, hospital management specialist Abdullah, and English teacher Amjad, as well as 4 daughters. He was known in administrative and social circles for his good character, gentleness, generosity, and integrity, and for his loyalty to all colleagues and friends. May God have mercy on him, and indeed, we belong to God and to Him we shall return.
