حمّل المفكر الدكتور عبدالإله بلقزيز، الرأسمالية مسؤولية تغيير القيم؛ لدفع المجتمعات إلى أن يعيشوا من أجل أن يستهلكوا! موضحاً، أنّ إستراتيجية تنمية المنزع الاستهلاكي لدى الناس أحرزت نجاحاً بمخاطبة الغرائزي واستدراجه، بوسائل الإغراء المختلفة، إلى النزوع نحو الإفصاح عن الرغبة في إشباع حاجاته.
ولفت إلى أنّ مهندسي الاستهلاك، ومروضي الغرائزي، يجدون أنفسهم مدفوعين إلى استثمار كلّ خبرة تتيح لهم اكتناه مكنونات النفسيات الإنسانيّة (الفرديّة والجماعيّة)، وتسخير الوسائل التّرغيبية جميعِها لاستثارة تلك المنازع، والإستراتيجيّة تنبئ عن مشروع متكامل ابتنى هندسته من معارف علميّة عن الإنسان – جسداً ونفْساً – وتَوَسّل إلى استدراجه، أدوات الإغراء المختلفة؛ المكتوبة والمسموعة والمرئيّة، ووفّر لنفسه الجسمَ الضّروريّ من خبراء الهندسة الإنتاجيّة ومن خبراء التّسويق، لنغدو بإزاء صناعةٍ كاملة تُجَنَّد فيها المواردُ الماليّة الهائلة، والمواردُ البشريّة العالية الكفاءة، قصد إنتاج ما هو شرطٌ ابتدائيّ لكلّ منتوج متمثلاً في «تهيئة المستهلك وتنمية روح الاستهلاك فيه».
صناعة الاستهلاك
أشار بلقزيز إلى أن جيوشاً من خبراء تنخرط في صناعة الاستهلاك، بتجنيد من الرّأسمالية لهذا الغرض، وأن تتدخّل مؤسّسات عدّة ومتنوّعة في الورشة الضّخمة في شكل من الشّراكة التّعاقديّة التي ربما تصل -في بعض الأحيان- إلى حدّ الاندماج. في شبكةٍ متناسقة من وحدات الإنتاج، والمختبرات العلميّة، ومؤسّسات الإعلانات، ومؤسّسات التّسويق، وفرقِ عملٍ متخصّصة من مهندسي الإنتاج، ومن الخبراء في مجالات متخصّصة، منها شبكات إعلاميّة خاصّة، أو متعاقَد معها على برامجَ لخدمة المشروع، وربما تكون المؤسّسات المنصرفة إلى تنمية الاستهلاك تابعةً لشركاتٍ بعينها، أو لمجموعة استثماريّةٍ مندمجة، وربما تكون مستقلّة عنها في شخصيّتها القانونيّة والإداريّة، ومرتبطة بها بعقود عملٍ مشتركة، إلا أنّ وظائفها حاسمةً ولا غنًى عنها بالنّسبة إلى أيّ مشروعٍ استثماريّ في مجالات الاقتصاد الاستهلاكيّ.
مخاطبة الغرائز
يرى بلقزيز، أنّ النّجاح في مخاطبة الغرائزيِّ في الإنسان، واستثارتِه وتحريكِه بوسائل الإغراء، لا يتحقّق على مبْنًى افتراضيّ، أي بمجرّد التّرغيب في الاستهلاك (الغِذائيّ أو الاقتنائيّ أو الاستمتاعيّ والاستجماميّ…)، ولا يتولّد منه -ضرورةً- دفْعُه إلى الإفصاح عن الرّغبة في إشباع حاجةٍ مّا، بل هو يكتمل -فقط- بالتّفنُّن في تقديم المعروض المُغري إليه على نحوٍ يحيِّد فيه القدرةَ التّنافسيّة لتشبيهه المنافِس، بما «يُقنع» المستهلِك بأنّه أمام المعروض المناسب -قيمةً وسِعراً- الذي يرغب فيه ويرى فيه ما سيُشبع حاجَته، ولذلك تسعى مؤسّسات الإنتاج إلى تجويد منتوجاتها الاستهلاكيّة كي تظفر بالطّلب المناسب عليها، وتساعدها مؤسّسات تنمية الاستهلاك، على مطابَقَة إنتاجيّتها لرغائب المستهلك.
وأضاف بلقريز أنّ هناك مشكلتين كبيرتين تظلاّن تلازمان كلّ سعيٍ من تلك المؤسّسات إلى التفنُّن في تصنيع منتوجاتها الاستهلاكيّة، واحتكار مجال الاستهلاك، هما؛ المنافسة المحتدمة بين الشّركات والمجموعات الإنتاجيّة داخل البلد الواحد وفي العالم، كونها تحُدّ من القدرة على السّيطرة على مجتمع المستهلكين من قِبل واحدة منها منفردةً ولو ارتفع سهمُها في مجال تجويد المنتوجات، ومستويات القدرة الشّرائيّة العامّة المنخفضة التي تكبح منزِع الاستهلاك، لتدنّيها، والتي لا يجد المنتجون الكبار حلّاً لها إلى الآن، لعلاقة ذلك الحلّ بتطوّر برامج التّنمية، ما خَلا العمل بنظام أقساط الدّفع بدلاً من القروض البنكيّة. وذهب إلى أنّ الرّأسماليّة ربطَت كلّ قيمةٍ اجتماعيّة بالاستهلاك! بما في ذلك التّحصيل المدرسيّ والعلميّ والعمل، ولم تعد لها من وظيفة سوى تنمية الموارد الماديّة لتحصيل القدرة على الاستهلاك، بتوظيف جيش جرّار ينخرط في معركة تصيير الاستهلاك هاجسَ البشريّة اليوميّ الذي يُفني ملاييرُ النّاس قواهُم في سبيله، علماً بأنه كان النّاس في الماضي يستهلكون ما يُنتجه عملُهم من أجل أن يعيشوا، وأصبحوا يستهلكون -الآن- ما لا ينتجونه «أيضاً من أجل أن يعيشوا».
The thinker Dr. Abdul Ilah Belqiziz held capitalism responsible for changing values; pushing societies to live in order to consume! He explained that the strategy of developing a consumerist tendency among people has succeeded by appealing to instincts and enticing them, through various means of temptation, to express the desire to satisfy their needs.
He pointed out that consumption engineers and instinct trainers find themselves compelled to invest every experience that allows them to understand the depths of human psyches (both individual and collective), and to harness all persuasive means to stimulate those tendencies. The strategy indicates a comprehensive project built on scientific knowledge about humans – body and soul – and employs various enticing tools; written, audio, and visual, and provides itself with the necessary body of production engineering experts and marketing specialists, so that we face a complete industry where enormous financial resources and highly efficient human resources are mobilized, aimed at producing what is a preliminary condition for any product represented in “preparing the consumer and developing the spirit of consumption within them.”
Consumption Industry
Belqiziz noted that armies of experts are engaged in the consumption industry, mobilized by capitalism for this purpose, and that several diverse institutions intervene in the massive workshop in a form of contractual partnership that may sometimes reach the level of integration. In a coherent network of production units, scientific laboratories, advertising agencies, marketing institutions, and specialized teams of production engineers, and experts in specialized fields, including private media networks, or contracted with programs to serve the project. The institutions dedicated to developing consumption may be affiliated with specific companies or an integrated investment group, or they may be independent in their legal and administrative identity, linked to it through joint work contracts. However, their functions are crucial and indispensable for any investment project in the fields of consumer economy.
Addressing Instincts
Belqiziz believes that success in addressing the instinctual side of humans, and stimulating and moving them through means of temptation, cannot be achieved on a hypothetical basis, that is, merely by enticing them to consume (whether food, acquisition, enjoyment, or recreation…), nor does it necessarily lead to pushing them to express the desire to satisfy a certain need. Rather, it is only completed by the art of presenting the tempting offer in a way that neutralizes the competitive ability of its rival, with what “convinces” the consumer that they are facing the suitable offer – in terms of value and price – that they desire and see as fulfilling their need. Therefore, production institutions strive to improve their consumer products to secure appropriate demand for them, and institutions for consumption development assist them in aligning their productivity with consumer desires.
Belqiziz added that there are two major problems that persist alongside every effort of these institutions to refine their consumer products and monopolize the consumption field: the fierce competition between companies and production groups within the same country and globally, as it limits the ability of any one of them to control the consumer society alone, even if its stock rises in the field of product quality, and the low general purchasing power levels that curb the consumption tendency due to their decline, which large producers have not yet found a solution for, as that solution is related to the development of growth programs, except for the work with installment payment systems instead of bank loans. He argued that capitalism has linked every social value to consumption! Including educational and scientific attainment and work, and it no longer has a function other than developing material resources to achieve the ability to consume, employing a massive army engaged in the battle of making consumption the daily obsession of humanity, which exhausts billions of people’s energies for its sake, knowing that in the past, people consumed what their work produced in order to live, and now they consume – also to live – what they do not produce.
