أشار وزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط التونسي الدكتور سمير عبدالحفيظ إلى الإسهامات التنموية للسعودية في الجمهورية التونسية، من خلال تمويل عددٍ من المشاريع والبرامج في عددٍ من المجالات منها المياه، والري، والتنمية الريفية والبيئية، إلى جانب عددٍ من قصص النجاح الاستثمارية للشركات السعودية في تونس، خصوصاً في قطاعات إستراتيجية، من بينها السياحة، والصناعة، والزراعة، والصحة والتعليم.
وأوضح خلال انطلاق أعمال الدورة الثانية عشرة للجنة السعودية التونسية المشتركة، في العاصمة الرياض، التي تنظمها وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، بمشاركة ممثلين من الجهات الحكومية في الجانبين؛ لمناقشة فرص توسيع آفاق التعاون الثنائي، وتطوير الشراكات الإستراتيجية في العديد من القطاعات الاقتصادية والتنموية، أن أعمال الدورة الثانية عشرة للجنة تمثل فرصةً متجددة لاستشراف آفاقٍ أوسع للتعاون الإستراتيجي بما يواكب المتغيرات الإقليمية والدولية.
ونوه إلى أن ملتقى الأعمال السعودي التونسي الذي يعقد على هامش أعمال اللجنة يشكِّل منصةً مهمة لبناء شراكات فاعلة بين القطاع الخاص في البلدين، تدعم مستهدفات التنمية الاقتصادية.
رؤى مشتركة
من جهته، أكد وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بندر الخريّف متانة العلاقات السعودية التونسية والروابط الأخوية والاقتصادية بين البلدين الشقيقين الممتدة لأكثر من 70 عاماً، التي تترجمها اليوم رؤىً مشتركة وبرامج عمل طموحة تواكب تطلعات قيادة البلدين وشعبيهما ومصالحهما المشتركة.
وأشار إلى أن اللجنة السعودية التونسية المشتركة، التي انطلقت منذ عام 1998، تمثل إطاراً مؤسسياً يستهدف تحويل التعاون إلى برامج ومبادرات تنفيذية، مؤكداً تطلعه إلى أن تكون هذه الدورة نقطة انطلاقٍ جديدة لمشاريع إستراتيجية مشتركة، واتفاقات أكثر تأثيراً في التنمية الاقتصادية للبلدين، وذلك من خلال توسيع نطاق التنسيق المشترك لاستكشاف فرص التكامل الاقتصادي والصناعي والشراكات الاستثمارية، مع التزام اللجنة بمتابعة وتنفيذ المشاريع المشتركة عبر فرق عمل، وجداول زمنية، ومؤشراتٍ لقياس الأداء، بما يضمن انتقال مخرجات هذه الدورة من إطار التوصيات إلى حيز التنفيذ العملي.
مضاعفة التنسيق
وأوضح الخريّف أن انعقاد الدورة الثانية عشرة يأتي في توقيت مهم يستوجب مضاعفة التنسيق في القطاعات المحركة للنمو، مع وضع القطاع الخاص في قلب أعمال اللجنة، داعياً الشركات في البلدين إلى بناء شراكاتٍ عملية في الصناعات الواعدة وسلاسل القيمة.
ونوه بنتائج الاجتماع الثالث لفريق العمل المشترك للتعاون التجاري المنعقد في تونس خلال يوليو 2025، وما نتج عنه من توافقات في الاعتراف المتبادل بشهادات مطابقة المنتجات، ما انعكس إيجاباً على نمو التبادل التجاري بنسبة بلغت 38% حتى سبتمبر 2025 مقارنة بالفترة ذاتها من العام الماضي.
يذكر أن أعمال اللجنة في دورتها الحالية تركز على تعزيز آليات التعاون المشترك، ومناقشة الفرص الاستثمارية، وتبادل الخبرات في قطاعات رئيسية تشمل الصناعة، والتعدين، والسياحة، والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، والقضاء والعدل، وذلك بهدف رفع كفاءة التبادل التجاري، ودعم نفاذ المنتجات السعودية إلى مختلف الأسواق الدولية، وتعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثماري.
The Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning, Dr. Samir Abdel Hafiz, pointed to Saudi Arabia’s developmental contributions in the Republic of Tunisia, through financing a number of projects and programs in various fields including water, irrigation, rural and environmental development, alongside several success stories of Saudi companies’ investments in Tunisia, particularly in strategic sectors such as tourism, industry, agriculture, health, and education.
He clarified during the launch of the twelfth session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee in the capital, Riyadh, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, with the participation of representatives from both governments; to discuss opportunities for expanding the horizons of bilateral cooperation and developing strategic partnerships in many economic and developmental sectors, that the twelfth session of the committee represents a renewed opportunity to explore broader horizons for strategic cooperation in line with regional and international changes.
He noted that the Saudi-Tunisian Business Forum, which is held on the sidelines of the committee’s work, constitutes an important platform for building effective partnerships between the private sectors of both countries, supporting the objectives of economic development.
Shared Visions
For his part, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, affirmed the strength of Saudi-Tunisian relations and the brotherly and economic ties between the two brotherly countries that have lasted for more than 70 years, which are today translated into shared visions and ambitious work programs that align with the aspirations of the leadership of both countries and their peoples and mutual interests.
He pointed out that the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee, which was launched in 1998, represents an institutional framework aimed at transforming cooperation into executable programs and initiatives, expressing his hope that this session would be a new starting point for joint strategic projects and more impactful agreements in the economic development of both countries, through expanding the scope of joint coordination to explore opportunities for economic and industrial integration and investment partnerships, with the committee committed to following up and implementing joint projects through working teams, timelines, and performance indicators, ensuring that the outcomes of this session transition from recommendations to practical implementation.
Doubling Coordination
Al-Khorayef explained that the holding of the twelfth session comes at an important time that necessitates doubling coordination in the growth-driving sectors, placing the private sector at the heart of the committee’s work, calling on companies in both countries to build practical partnerships in promising industries and value chains.
He highlighted the results of the third meeting of the joint working team for trade cooperation held in Tunisia in July 2025, and the agreements that resulted in mutual recognition of product conformity certificates, which positively reflected on the growth of trade exchange by 38% until September 2025 compared to the same period last year.
It is worth noting that the committee’s work in its current session focuses on enhancing mechanisms for joint cooperation, discussing investment opportunities, and exchanging experiences in key sectors including industry, mining, tourism, transport and logistics services, and justice, with the aim of increasing the efficiency of trade exchange, supporting the access of Saudi products to various international markets, and enhancing economic and investment cooperation.
