ما زالت أصداء زيارة ولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان إلى واشنطن تتردد في وسائل الإعلام العالمية. المتابعون يعرفون أنه ما من وسيلة إعلامية بارزة إلا وتناولت جانباً من جوانب الزيارة بالتغطية الخبرية أو التقرير أو التحليل، مع ما يشبه الإجماع أن ما حققته الزيارة من نتائج فاق التوقعات التي سبقتها لدى بعض المراقبين الذين اعتقدوا أن بعض الملفات، أو المطالب التي يحملها الزائر معه لن يُبت فيها من قبل الرئيس ترمب بسهولة وبسرعة، وربما يتم التحفظ على بعضٍ منها لحين من الوقت لإظهار أنه ليس من السهل أن تستجيب أمريكا لكل المطالب دفعة واحدة من أي دولة، لكن الذي حدث هو العكس تماماً عندما أُنجز كل شيء بسهولة وسلاسة وترحيب كبير من الجانب الأمريكي مع تأكيد على استراتيجية العلاقة مع المملكة والعمل على تقويتها وتوسيع مجالاتها والدفع بها الى مستويات أعلى وأهم.
هناك أسباب عديدة لهذا الإنجاز الكبير والمهم الذي حققته الزيارة، من أهمها أن المطالب والاحتياجات التي حملها ولي العهد إلى واشنطن كانت مدروسة بعناية ودقة وعمق كي تلبي متطلبات مشروع تنمية شاملة حقيقي وضخم في دولة موثوقة ومستقرة، تحترم التزاماتها واتفاقياتها ولا يشغلها سوى استمرار التنمية فيها وتحقيق الرخاء والأمن والاستقرار لشعبها. دولة تتسم بالاتزان والحكمة في سياساتها وعلاقاتها، تحرص على مصالحها ومصالح شركائها، وتعرف أن التنمية والاستقرار والازدهار تحتاج إلى القوة بمختلف أشكالها، قوة العلم والمعرفة، وقوة التقنية، وأيضاً قوة السلاح لحماية منجزاتها.
وخلال السنوات الأخيرة منذ بداية مشروع الرؤية الوطنية الجديدة الشاملة، اكتسبت المملكة مزيداً من الثقة في سياساتها وتوجهاتها لدى العالم شرقاً وغرباً، واستطاعت إنجاز شراكات مهمة مع جميع الدول التي تتوفر لديها حاجاتها بشكل متوازن وبمسافات متساوية مع الجميع، كما تأكد للعالم أنها أصبحت رقماً كبيراً ومهماً ومؤثراً في معادلات السياسة والاقتصاد من خلال تعاملها الحصيف مع الأزمات في محيطها وخارجه، وسعيها الدؤوب لحل النزاعات والحروب والأزمات وترسيخ السلم والأمن والاستقرار، وبالتالي كان على الحليف التأريخي الاستراتيجي الأمريكي أن يتعامل مع المملكة وفق المعطيات الراهنة والحضور الكبير الذي أصبحت تمثله المملكة كقوة اقتصادية جاذبة، وقوة سياسية فاعلة، في بيئة آمنة ومستقرة.
لهذه الاعتبارات وكثير غيرها تعاملت أمريكا مع زائرها وفق ما يليق به من حفاوة، وتعاملت مع احتياجات بلده منها بإيجابية كبيرة؛ لأنها متأكدة من تحقيق المصالح المتبادلة مع شريك مهم وموثوق ومؤثر.

Observers know that there is no prominent media outlet that has not covered some aspect of the visit through news coverage, reports, or analysis, with a near consensus that the results achieved from the visit exceeded the expectations held by some observers who believed that certain files or demands brought by the visitor would not be easily and quickly resolved by President Trump, and that some of them might be withheld for a time to demonstrate that it is not easy for America to respond to all demands at once from any country. However, what happened was exactly the opposite, as everything was accomplished easily, smoothly, and with great welcome from the American side, emphasizing the strategic relationship with the Kingdom and working to strengthen it, expand its fields, and elevate it to higher and more important levels.
There are many reasons for this significant and important achievement brought about by the visit, the most important of which is that the demands and needs carried by the Crown Prince to Washington were carefully, precisely, and deeply studied to meet the requirements of a truly comprehensive and massive development project in a reliable and stable country that respects its commitments and agreements and is solely focused on continuing its development and achieving prosperity, security, and stability for its people. A country characterized by balance and wisdom in its policies and relations, keen on its interests and those of its partners, and aware that development, stability, and prosperity require strength in various forms: the strength of knowledge and education, the strength of technology, and also the strength of arms to protect its achievements.
In recent years, since the beginning of the new comprehensive national vision project, the Kingdom has gained more confidence in its policies and directions in the eyes of the world, both East and West. It has been able to establish important partnerships with all countries that have balanced needs and equal distances with everyone. The world has also confirmed that it has become a significant and influential player in the equations of politics and economics through its prudent handling of crises both within and outside its surroundings, and its relentless pursuit to resolve conflicts, wars, and crises, and to establish peace, security, and stability. Consequently, the historical strategic ally, the United States, had to engage with the Kingdom according to the current data and the significant presence that the Kingdom has come to represent as an attractive economic power and an effective political force in a safe and stable environment.
For these considerations and many others, America treated its visitor with the hospitality that befits him and addressed his country’s needs with great positivity, as it is confident in achieving mutual interests with an important, reliable, and influential partner.
