أصدرت محكمة جنايات القاهرة المنعقدة بمجمع محاكم العباسية، حكما غيابياً بسجن عامل حقائب بميناء القاهرة الجوي خمس سنوات مشددة بعد ثبوت تورطه في هتك عرض سائحة أجنبية داخل المطار.
وكشفت التحقيقات أن المتهم «أ.ك» البالغ من العمر 23 عاماً هتك عرض السائحة بالقوة، حين استغل لحظة انشغال الضحية أثناء حملها لحقائبها يوم 2 سبتمبر الماضي، واقترب منها واستطالت يده إلى مواطن عفتها. وأكدت النيابة العامة صحة الأدلة والشهادات، لتؤكد المحكمة تشديد العقوبة كتحذير لكل من يحاول انتهاك حقوق النساء بالمطارات والموانئ.
ويأتي الحكم في إطار جهود السلطات المصرية لتعزيز أمن وسلامة المسافرين وحماية حقوقهم داخل المنشآت الحيوية، خصوصا المطارات التي تشهد حركة مكثفة يومياً.
The Cairo Criminal Court, convened at the Abbasia Court Complex, issued a default sentence of five years in prison for a baggage handler at Cairo International Airport after proving his involvement in the sexual assault of a foreign tourist inside the airport.
Investigations revealed that the accused, “A.K,” 23 years old, sexually assaulted the tourist by force, taking advantage of a moment when the victim was preoccupied with carrying her bags on September 2nd. He approached her and extended his hand to her private parts. The Public Prosecution confirmed the validity of the evidence and testimonies, leading the court to impose a harsher penalty as a warning to anyone attempting to violate women’s rights at airports and ports.
This ruling comes as part of the Egyptian authorities’ efforts to enhance the security and safety of travelers and protect their rights within vital facilities, especially airports that experience heavy traffic daily.
