الحرب بين أمريكا وإسرائيل من جهة ضد ايران لم تنتهِ بسرعة كما كان يأمل الامريكيون، وخاصة الرئيس الأمريكي ترمب، والذي في كل مؤتمر صحفي يردد أن آمال إيران في النفوذ والهيمنة في الإقليم قد انتهت، وأن قواتها العسكرية قد دُمرت. الحقيقة أن إيران مستمرة في هذه الحرب رغم ما تخسره من مقدرات بشرية وعسكرية بعد السيطرة الأمريكية على أجوائها، وهذا لا يعني أن المفاجآت الداخلية في إيران قد استقرت بشكل حتمي، وقد يكون هذا الشكل من القوة وتوزيع الضربات على منشآت الطاقة في المنطقة وإغلاق مضيق هرمز هو تدويل الأزمة والضغط على المستهلكين والدول المنتجة للعمل على ممارسة الضغط على الرئيس ترمب لإيقاف الحرب، وأعتقد أن هذا التفكير والتوجه لن يجدي في الوصول لإسكات صوت المدافع في الخليج والإقليم. ترمب يردد أنه كان يتوقع ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة، وأن هذه الأسعار سوف تنخفض بعد توقف الحرب قريباً كما يردد، ولكن أغلب المراقبين يعتقدون أن الطاقة من بترول وغاز سوف يكون لها مفتاح الحل لهذه الأزمة. إيران بعد استهداف المنشآت النفطية الخليجية، والتي ليس لها علاقة بقواعد أجنبية كما تردد السردية للنظام، تهدد بإغلاق مضيق هرمز وقطع شريان إمداد العالم بالطاقة، وهذا التهديد الإيراني ليس بجديد، فكل أزمة مر بها النظام الإيراني مع الغرب يهدد ويتوعد بإغلاق هذا الشريان الحيوي للعالم والإقليم، ولكن هذه المرة قضية إغلاق المضيق دخلت حيّز التنفيذ من الجانب الإيراني وتعرّضت حاملات النفط لاعتداءات من الجانب الإيراني. مضيق هرمز أحد أهم الممرات المائية الملاحية بالعالم، إذ يعبر منه حوالى 11% من حجم التجارة العالمية، ويعبر منه ربع تجارة النفط والغاز، أي حوالى 20 مليون برميل يومياً، إضافة إلى خُمس تجارة الغاز الطبيعي المسال، حسب معلومات الطاقة الأمريكية عام 2024.
مسألة الطاقة وإمداداتها قضية وجودية للعالم، وبالأخص لإدارة الرئيس ترمب، لما لها من انعكاسات سلبية في الداخل الأمريكي والأوروبي. كلنا يتابع بعض آراء المحللين الذين يعتقدون أن الأسباب الخفية لهذه الحرب قد تكون بشكل أساسي هي مسألة السيطرة على مناطق الطاقة وممرات نقلها، وهي تعني الكثير في الإستراتيجية الأمريكية في قضية الصراع والهيمنة عليها كسلاح ضد قوى دولية أخرى. الإدارة الأمريكية تنفي إرسال قوات أمريكية برية للبر الإيراني ولكن الصورة واضحة بأن مسألة إغلاق مضيق هرمز لا يمكن القبول بها من إدارة ترمب، وها هو يخطط وينفذ ضربات عنيفة على المنشآت العسكرية لبعض الجزر الإيرانية والتي تتحكم بمضيق هرمز، وخاصة جزيرة «خارك» الأكثر أهمية من الناحية الإستراتيجية في قضية المضيق، وهي الأكبر من بين الجزر الأخرى مثل جزر قشم وهرمز ولارك، حيث تبلغ مساحتها 22 كم مربع، ويعيش فيها حوالى 20 ألف نسمة، أغلبهم من العرب، وتحتوي على منشآت أنابيب نفطية لتصدير حوالى 90% من البترول والغاز الإيراني. الهجمات الأمريكية على هذه الجزيرة قبل أيام ركزت على المنشآت العسكرية ولم تتعرض للنفطية منها، بل إن القوات الأمريكية تحشد القوات البرية والبرمائية للسيطرة على جزيرة «خارك» لخنق الاقتصاد الإيراني وفتح المضائق المائية، وخاصة مضيق هرمز.
هل يكون المضيق والجزيرة فيه بوابة النهاية للأعمال العسكرية في الخليج، وأن تتغلب لغة المصالح أكثر على صوت المدافع؟ وهل يمكن أن ينجح خلق تحالف دولي لفتح وتأمين مضيق هرمز في ظروف وأعمال عسكرية صعبة، وهو ما جعل بعض دول «الناتو» تتردد في الانخراط في هذه الفكرة مما أغضب الرئيس ترمب ووصفهم «بالجبناء»؟
The war between America and Israel on one side and Iran on the other did not end quickly as the Americans, especially President Trump, had hoped. In every press conference, he repeats that Iran’s hopes for influence and dominance in the region have come to an end, and that its military forces have been destroyed. The truth is that Iran continues in this war despite the losses it incurs in human and military resources after American control over its airspace. This does not mean that internal surprises in Iran have settled inevitably, and this form of power and the distribution of strikes on energy facilities in the region and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz may be an internationalization of the crisis, putting pressure on consumers and producing countries to exert pressure on President Trump to stop the war. I believe that this thinking and direction will not succeed in silencing the sound of cannons in the Gulf and the region. Trump insists that he expected energy prices to rise, and that these prices will fall after the war stops soon, as he claims. However, most observers believe that energy from oil and gas will be the key to solving this crisis. After targeting Gulf oil facilities, which have no connection to foreign bases as the regime’s narrative claims, Iran threatens to close the Strait of Hormuz and cut off the world’s energy supply. This Iranian threat is not new; every crisis the Iranian regime has faced with the West has involved threats to close this vital artery for the world and the region. However, this time the issue of closing the strait has entered the implementation phase from the Iranian side, and oil tankers have been subjected to attacks from Iran. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important maritime passages in the world, through which about 11% of global trade passes, and it accounts for a quarter of oil and gas trade, approximately 20 million barrels per day, in addition to one-fifth of liquefied natural gas trade, according to U.S. energy information for 2024.
The issue of energy and its supplies is an existential matter for the world, especially for President Trump’s administration, due to its negative implications in the American and European interiors. We all follow some analysts’ opinions who believe that the hidden reasons for this war may primarily revolve around the control of energy areas and their transport corridors, which mean a lot in the American strategy regarding the conflict and dominance over them as a weapon against other international powers. The U.S. administration denies sending American ground forces to Iranian territory, but the picture is clear that the issue of closing the Strait of Hormuz cannot be accepted by the Trump administration. Here he is planning and executing violent strikes on military facilities on some Iranian islands that control the Strait of Hormuz, especially the strategically important island of “Khark,” which is the largest among other islands like Qeshm, Hormuz, and Larak, with an area of 22 square kilometers and a population of about 20,000, most of whom are Arabs. It contains oil pipeline facilities for exporting about 90% of Iranian oil and gas. The recent American attacks on this island focused on military facilities and did not target the oil facilities; rather, American forces are mobilizing ground and amphibious troops to seize the island of “Khark” to choke the Iranian economy and open the waterways, especially the Strait of Hormuz.
Will the strait and the island within it be the gateway to the end of military operations in the Gulf, and will the language of interests prevail over the sound of cannons? Can the creation of an international alliance to open and secure the Strait of Hormuz succeed under difficult military conditions, which has caused some NATO countries to hesitate to engage in this idea, angering President Trump and leading him to label them as “cowards”?
