مرحلة ثالثة ضمن إعداد مونديال 2026
انتظم لاعبو المنتخب الوطني السعودي الأول أمس (الأحد) في مقر إقامتهم بمحافظة جدة، إيذاناً ببدء المعسكر الإعدادي الذي يُقام خلال فترة أيام (FIFA) الدولية لشهر مارس، ضمن المرحلة الثالثة من برنامج إعداد (الأخضر) لنهائيات كأس العالم FIFA 2026™.
وكان في استقبال اللاعبين مدرب الأخضر هيرفي رينارد ومدير المنتخب السعودي الأول لكرة القدم الكابتن صالح الداود، اللذان بادلا اللاعبين التهاني بمناسبة حلول عيد الفطر المبارك.
وشهد اليوم الأول للمعسكر وصول سعود عبدالحميد لاعب نادي لانس الفرنسي لمدينة جدة قادماً من فرنسا، بعد مشاركته الأخيرة مع فريقه أمام أنجيه ومساهمته في تحقيق انتصار جديد بنتيجة (5-1)، ليرفع رصيد فريقه إلى 59 نقطة وصيفاً لمتصدر الدوري الفرنسي خلف باريس سان جيرمان بفارق نقطة وحيدة.
ويمتد المعسكر خلال الفترة من 22 إلى 31 مارس الجاري، متنقلاً بين جدة وجمهورية صربيا، حيث يستضيف (الأخضر) نظيره المنتخب المصري في مواجهة ودية يوم الجمعة القادم 27 مارس على ملعب الإنماء بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية، قبل أن يشد الرحال إلى العاصمة الصربية بلغراد لملاقاة منتخب صربيا ودياً يوم الثلاثاء 31 من الشهر ذاته.
ومن المقرر أن تغادر بعثة المنتخب الوطني إلى بلغراد يوم السبت 28 مارس، على أن يخوض الفريق حصتين تدريبيتين هناك في إطار تحضيراته للمواجهة المرتقبة.
وكان (الأخضر) قد دشّن، مساء أمس، برنامجه التدريبي بحصة مسائية أُقيمت على الملاعب الرديفة بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، وسط إغلاق أمام وسائل الإعلام، بما ينسجم مع البرنامج الفني المعتمد.
وفي سياق متصل، يشهد البرنامج الفني إقامة معسكر موازٍ للمنتخب الوطني (B) في جدة خلال الفترة ذاتها، تحت إشراف المدير الفني للمنتخب الأول هيرفي رينارد، وبقيادة مدرب المنتخب تحت 23 عاماً، الإيطالي لويجي دي بياجو، في خطوة تهدف إلى توسيع قاعدة الخيارات الفنية وتعزيز الجاهزية.
ويأتي هذا المعسكر ضمن سلسلة التحضيرات للاستحقاقات القادمة، وفي مقدمتها المشاركة في نهائيات كأس العالم FIFA 2026™، حيث أوقعت القرعة المنتخب الوطني ضمن المجموعة الثامنة إلى جانب منتخبات إسبانيا، والأوروغواي، والرأس الأخضر.

Third Phase in Preparation for the 2026 World Cup
The players of the Saudi national team gathered yesterday (Sunday) at their residence in Jeddah, marking the start of the training camp held during the international (FIFA) days in March, as part of the third phase of the preparation program for the (Green) for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ finals.
The players were welcomed by the Green’s coach Hervé Renard and the director of the Saudi national football team, Captain Saleh Al-Daoud, who exchanged congratulations with the players on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
On the first day of the camp, Saud Abdulhamid, a player for the French club Lens, arrived in Jeddah coming from France, after his recent participation with his team against Angers, contributing to a new victory with a score of (5-1), raising his team’s points to 59, placing them second in the French league behind Paris Saint-Germain by just one point.
The camp will extend from March 22 to 31, moving between Jeddah and the Republic of Serbia, where the (Green) will host their Egyptian counterpart in a friendly match next Friday, March 27, at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, before heading to the Serbian capital, Belgrade, to face the Serbian national team in a friendly on Tuesday, March 31.
The national team delegation is scheduled to depart for Belgrade on Saturday, March 28, and the team will hold two training sessions there as part of their preparations for the upcoming match.
The (Green) launched its training program yesterday evening with a session held on the auxiliary fields at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, with media access restricted, in line with the approved technical program.
In a related context, the technical program includes a parallel camp for the national team (B) in Jeddah during the same period, supervised by the head coach of the first team, Hervé Renard, and led by the under-23 national team coach, Italian Luigi Di Biagio, in a step aimed at expanding the base of technical options and enhancing readiness.
This camp is part of a series of preparations for upcoming commitments, primarily participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026™, where the national team has been drawn into Group H alongside the teams of Spain, Uruguay, and Cape Verde.
