في الوقت الذي تضغط فيه حرب إيران على سلاسل الإمدادات في الخليج والعالم، خصوصاً في ظل تعطل الملاحة في مضيق هرمز، أعلنت الهيئة العامة للموانئ السعودية «موانئ» إطلاق ممر لوجستي جديد يربط إمارة الشارقة في الإمارات بالمملكة، وذلك في خطوة تستهدف تعزيز انسيابية حركة البضائع ورفع كفاءة سلاسل الإمداد الإقليمية.
تسريع الشحن
وأوضحت «موانئ»، عبر حسابها على منصة «إكس»، أن المشروع يعتمد على تكامل النقلين البري والبحري عبر مسار مباشر يصل الشارقة بمدينة الدمام، بما يسرع عمليات الشحن ويخفض زمن العبور، إلى جانب تحسين توزيع الشحنات داخل أسواق الخليج.
ويأتي هذا التحرك ضمن جهود أوسع لتعزيز الربط اللوجستي بين موانئ المملكة ودول المنطقة، عبر شراكات مع القطاع الخاص.
At a time when the Iran war is putting pressure on supply chains in the Gulf and the world, especially with the disruption of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, the Saudi Ports Authority “Mawani” announced the launch of a new logistics corridor connecting the Emirate of Sharjah in the UAE with the Kingdom, in a move aimed at enhancing the smooth flow of goods and improving the efficiency of regional supply chains.
Accelerating Shipping
Mawani clarified, through its account on the “X” platform, that the project relies on the integration of land and sea transport via a direct route connecting Sharjah to the city of Dammam, which accelerates shipping operations and reduces transit times, in addition to improving the distribution of shipments within Gulf markets.
This move is part of broader efforts to enhance logistical connectivity between the Kingdom’s ports and those of the region, through partnerships with the private sector.
