أعلن جهاز الأمن الفيدرالي الروسي أن منفّذ محاولة اغتيال المسؤول بالمخابرات العسكرية الروسية فلاديمير أليكسييف جرى تجنيده من قبل الاستخبارات الأوكرانية في أغسطس 2025، بمساعدة من الاستخبارات البولندية.
وكشف مركز العلاقات العامة التابع لجهاز الأمن الفيدرالي، في بيان، اليوم (الإثنين)، أن لوبومير كوربا جرى تجنيده من قبل ضابط في الاستخبارات الأوكرانية بمدينة ترنوبل في أغسطس 2025، وخضع لتدريبات على الرماية داخل ميدان تدريب في كييف، واختبار كشف الكذب، وتلقى تعليمات حول وسائل الاتصال عبر مكالمات الفيديو باستخدام تطبيق «زووم»، وفق ما نقلته وكالة «تاس».
وحسب البيان، فإن العميل أُرسل إلى روسيا في الشهر نفسه عبر مسار كييف – كيشيناو – تبليسي – موسكو.
وأوضح جهاز الأمن الفيدرالي أن عملية تجنيد كوربا تمت بمساهمة من الاستخبارات البولندية عبر ابنه، ليوبوش كوربا، الذي يحمل الجنسية البولندية. ولفت إلى أن الاستخبارات الأوكرانية وعدت منفّذ محاولة اغتيال الفريق أليكسييف بمبلغ 30 ألف دولار مقابل تنفيذ العملية.
يذكر أن فلاديمير أليكسييف ضابط كبير في الاستخبارات العسكرية الروسية، ويشغل منصب النائب الأول لرئيس الإدارة الرئيسية لمخابرات هيئة الأركان العامة للقوات المسلحة الروسية منذ عام 2011، وهو من كبار القادة العسكريين في روسيا.
وُضع اسمه تحت عقوبات من الولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا والاتحاد الأوروبي بتهم تتعلق بأنشطة استخباراتية وعمليات خارجية، بينها اتهامات بالتورط في حادثة تسميم سيرجي سكريبال الجاسوس الروسي السابق، وابنته يوليا سكريبال عام 2018 والتدخل في انتخابات الرئاسة الأمريكية عام 2020.
The Russian Federal Security Service announced that the perpetrator of the assassination attempt on Russian military intelligence official Vladimir Alekseev was recruited by Ukrainian intelligence in August 2025, with assistance from Polish intelligence.
The Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service revealed in a statement today (Monday) that Lubomyr Korba was recruited by an officer in Ukrainian intelligence in the city of Ternopil in August 2025, underwent shooting training at a training ground in Kyiv, took a lie detector test, and received instructions on communication methods via video calls using the “Zoom” application, according to the TASS news agency.
According to the statement, the agent was sent to Russia the same month via the Kyiv – Chișinău – Tbilisi – Moscow route.
The Federal Security Service clarified that Korba’s recruitment was facilitated by Polish intelligence through his son, Lyubosh Korba, who holds Polish citizenship. It noted that Ukrainian intelligence promised the perpetrator of the assassination attempt on General Alekseev an amount of $30,000 for carrying out the operation.
It is worth mentioning that Vladimir Alekseev is a senior officer in the Russian military intelligence and has served as the First Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces since 2011, making him one of the top military leaders in Russia.
His name has been placed under sanctions by the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union due to allegations related to intelligence activities and foreign operations, including accusations of involvement in the poisoning incident of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia Skripal in 2018, as well as interference in the 2020 U.S. presidential elections.
