وجّه خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، كلمةً إلى المواطنين والمقيمين في المملكة والمسلمين في أنحاء العالم، بمناسبة حلول شهر رمضان.
وفيما يلي نص الكلمة التي تشرّف بإلقائها وزير الإعلام سلمان الدوسري:
«الحمد لله تعالى القائل في كتابه الكريم، (يا أيها الذين آمنوا كُتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون)، والصلاة والسلام على رسوله الأمين، وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين.
إخواني وأخواتي المواطنين والمقيمين، في المملكة العربية السعودية والمسلمين في أنحاء العالم.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته:
نهنئكم بحلول شهر رمضان المبارك، الذي تفتح فيه أبواب الجنة، وفيه ليلة خير من ألف شهر، سائلين الله سبحانه أن يعيننا على الصيام والقيام وأداء الطاعات.
ونحمد المولى العلي القدير على ما خص به بلادنا المباركة، من شرف خدمة الحرمين الشريفين، وقاصديهما من الحجاج والمعتمرين والزائرين، ونحن ماضون بعون الله على هذا النهج الثابت، الذي سار عليه ملوك هذه الدولة.
أيها المسلمون:
إن شهر رمضان مناسبة عظيمة لتزكية النفوس، والعمل الصالح وتعزيز التراحم والتكافل، وشكر المولى عزّ وجل على نعمه الظاهرة والباطنة.
ونسأل الله تعالى أن يبارك لنا في هذا الشهر الفضيل، ويتقبّل منا صالح الأعمال، وأن يديم على بلادنا الأمن والرخاء، وأن ينعم على الأشقاء في فلسطين، والأمة الإسلامية والعالم أجمع بالسلام والاستقرار.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته».
وكان الديوان الملكي أصدر بياناً أمس، أشار فيه إلى أن دائرة الأهلّة في المحكمة العليا عقدت جلسة للنظر فيما يردها حول ترائي هلال شهر رمضان، وبعد الاطلاع على جميع ما وردها والنظر فيه وتأمله، ونظراً لما تضمّنه قرار المحكمة العليا بتاريخ 29/ 7/ 1447هـ أن يوم الثلاثاء 1/ 8/ 1447هـ الموافق 20/ 1/ 2026م هو غرة شهر شعبان لعام 1447هـ، ولأنه قد شهد عدد من الشهود العدول برؤية هلال شهر رمضان المبارك هذه الليلة، وبناءً عليه، ولما ثبت عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: «صوموا لرؤيته وأفطروا لرؤيته» متفق عليه، فإن الدائرة تقرر، أن يوم الأربعاء 1/ 9/ 1447هـ هو غرة شهر رمضان المبارك لهذا العام.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, delivered a message to citizens and residents in the Kingdom and Muslims around the world, on the occasion of the arrival of the month of Ramadan.
Below is the text of the message delivered by the Minister of Media, Salman Al-Dosari:
“Praise be to Allah, the Almighty, who said in His Holy Book, (O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous), and peace and blessings be upon His trustworthy Messenger, and upon his family and companions altogether.
My brothers and sisters, citizens and residents, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Muslims around the world.
Peace be upon you and God’s mercy and blessings:
We congratulate you on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, in which the doors of Paradise are opened, and in which there is a night better than a thousand months, asking Allah, the Almighty, to assist us in fasting, praying, and performing good deeds.
We praise the Almighty Lord for what He has granted our blessed country, the honor of serving the Two Holy Mosques and those who visit them from pilgrims and Umrah performers, and we are steadfast, with God’s help, on this firm path that the kings of this state have followed.
O Muslims:
The month of Ramadan is a great occasion for purifying souls, doing good deeds, enhancing compassion and solidarity, and thanking the Almighty for His apparent and hidden blessings.
We ask Allah, the Almighty, to bless us in this holy month, to accept our good deeds, to sustain security and prosperity in our country, and to bestow peace and stability upon our brothers in Palestine, the Islamic nation, and the entire world.
And peace be upon you and God’s mercy and blessings.”
The Royal Court issued a statement yesterday, indicating that the Crescent Observation Committee at the Supreme Court held a session to consider what was reported to it regarding the sighting of the crescent moon of the month of Ramadan. After reviewing all that was presented and contemplating it, and in light of the Supreme Court’s decision dated 29/7/1447 AH that Tuesday, 1/8/1447 AH, corresponding to 20/1/2026 AD, is the beginning of the month of Sha’ban for the year 1447 AH, and because a number of trustworthy witnesses testified to seeing the crescent moon of the blessed month of Ramadan this night, therefore, and based on what has been established from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who said: “Fast when you see it and break your fast when you see it” agreed upon, the committee decides that Wednesday, 1/9/1447 AH is the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan for this year.
