أعلن الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ، أن إلغاء الرسوم الجمركية على الواردات من جميع الدول الأفريقية، سيبدأ من الأول من مايو.
وقال شي جين بينغ خلال اجتماع قادة القارة في إثيوبيا في القمة السنوية للاتحاد الأفريقي إن «اتفاقية الإعفاء من الرسوم الجمركية ستوفر بلا شك فرصاًجديدة للتنمية الأفريقية».
سياسة الإعفاء
وتطبق الصين حالياً سياسة الإعفاء من الرسوم الجمركية على واردات 33 دولة أفريقية، إلا أن بكين أعلنت العام الماضي عزمها توسيع نطاق هذه السياسة لتشمل جميع شركائها الدبلوماسيين البالغ عددهم 53 في القارة، وسيتم تطبيق الإعفاء من الرسوم على جميع الدول الأفريقية ابتداءً من الأول من مايو.
Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that the elimination of tariffs on imports from all African countries will begin on May 1st.
Xi Jinping stated during a meeting of the continent’s leaders in Ethiopia at the annual African Union summit that “the tariff exemption agreement will undoubtedly provide new opportunities for African development.”
Exemption Policy
China currently applies a tariff exemption policy on imports from 33 African countries; however, Beijing announced last year its intention to expand this policy to include all of its 53 diplomatic partners on the continent, and the tariff exemption will be applied to all African countries starting from May 1st.
