فالحروب الحديثة لم تعد تُخاض بالسلاح فقط، بل تترافق دائماً مع معركة إعلامية موازية، تتسابق فيها الروايات، وتُستخدم فيها الصور والمقاطع والتحليلات لتشكيل الانطباع العام، والتأثير في الرأي العام، وأحياناً لخلق حالة من القلق أو الالتباس حول حقيقة ما يجري.
وفي ظل هذا المشهد المتسارع، يصبح وعي المجتمع عنصراً حاسماً في حفظ التوازن. فالتعامل المتزن مع الأخبار، والتثبت من مصادرها، وعدم الانجراف وراء المحتوى المجهول أو الحسابات المشبوهة، كلها عوامل تسهم في حماية الفضاء الإعلامي من الفوضى التي ترافق عادة أوقات الأزمات.
وقد أثبت المواطن السعودي، في أكثر من مناسبة، مستوى عالياً من الوعي والمسؤولية في التعامل مع مثل هذه اللحظات. فالمجتمع الذي يعيش في دولة راسخة المؤسسات، واضحة في مواقفها، وصريحة في خطابها، يدرك أن المعلومة الدقيقة تُؤخذ من مصدرها الرسمي، لا من حسابات مجهولة تبحث عن الإثارة أو السبق.
وفي المملكة، حيث الأمن والاستقرار ليسا شعارات بل واقعاً متجذراً في مؤسسات الدولة، اعتاد المواطن أن يتعامل مع الأحداث الإقليمية بهدوء وثقة، مستندًا إلى وضوح الموقف الرسمي، وإلى قناعة راسخة بأن الدولة تدير ملفاتها بحكمة ومسؤولية.
ولهذا فإن أحد أهم أدوار المواطن في مثل هذه اللحظات يتمثل في التحقق قبل النشر، والاعتماد على المصادر الرسمية، وتجنّب إعادة تداول الأخبار غير الموثوقة. فالمعلومة غير الدقيقة، حتى وإن نُشرت بحسن نية، قد تسهم في خلق صورة مشوشة عن الواقع، أو في تضخيم أحداث لا تستدعي كل هذا القلق.
إن المجتمعات الواعية لا تتحوّل إلى ساحة مفتوحة للشائعات، ولا تكون بيئة سهلة لحملات التضليل الإعلامي التي ترافق الصراعات الدولية. بل تتعامل مع المعلومة بقدر من التروي، وتترك للمصادر الموثوقة مسؤولية نقل الصورة الكاملة.
فالهدوء في أوقات الأزمات ليس غياباً للاهتمام، بل هو تعبير عن نضج المجتمع وثقته بدولته. وهذه الثقة المتبادلة بين الدولة والمجتمع هي التي تجعل الجبهة الداخلية أكثر تماسكاً، وأكثر قدرة على تجاوز لحظات التوتر الإقليمي دون ارتباك.
إضافة إلى أن الحروب اليوم لا تُخاض بالصواريخ وحدها، بل تُخاض كذلك بالمعلومة والصورة والانطباع العام. وفي مثل هذه اللحظات، يبقى وعي المواطن هو سلاح الردع الأول، وخط الدفاع الأكثر هدوءاً… والأكثر تأثيراً.

The Saudi citizen has proven, on more than one occasion, a high level of awareness and responsibility in dealing with such moments. A society that lives in a state with established institutions, clear in its positions, and straightforward in its discourse, understands that accurate information is obtained from its official source, not from unknown accounts seeking sensationalism or exclusivity.
In the Kingdom, where security and stability are not mere slogans but a deeply rooted reality in the state’s institutions, citizens have become accustomed to dealing with regional events calmly and confidently, relying on the clarity of the official stance and a firm conviction that the state manages its files wisely and responsibly.
Therefore, one of the most important roles of citizens in such moments is to verify before publishing, rely on official sources, and avoid circulating unreliable news. Inaccurate information, even if published in good faith, can contribute to creating a distorted image of reality or amplifying events that do not warrant such concern.
Conscious societies do not turn into open arenas for rumors, nor do they provide an easy environment for media disinformation campaigns that accompany international conflicts. Instead, they handle information with a degree of caution, leaving the responsibility of conveying the complete picture to trusted sources.
