رفعت وزارة البلديات والإسكان مستوى جاهزية منظومة الخدمات البلدية في العاصمة المقدسة استعداداً لموسم رمضان والعمرة لهذا العام، عبر خطط تشغيلية وخدمية متكاملة تنفذها الوزارة ممثلة في أمانة العاصمة المقدسة.
وشملت الاستعدادات في جانب البنية التحتية رفع كفاءة شبكات الأنفاق بطول 22515 متراً طولياً، إلى جانب صيانة وتهيئة 6000 متر طولي من أنفاق الخدمات، فضلاً عن تنفيذ أعمال صيانة لـ16 جسراً و8 طرق رئيسية، بما يسهم في تعزيز انسيابية الحركة المرورية وتسهيل تنقل المشاة خلال فترات الذروة.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن خطط الجاهزية اعتمدت على تسخير 13549 عاملاً مدعومين بـ912 معدّة وآلية، إضافة إلى توزيع أكثر من 47900 حاوية نفايات في مختلف المواقع، بهدف رفع مستوى النظافة العامة والإصحاح البيئي على مدار الساعة.
وتركزت الجهود بشكل خاص في المنطقة المركزية نظراً لارتفاع الكثافة البشرية فيها، إذ جرى دعمها بأكثر من 2100 كادر بشري، وتوفير ما يزيد على 430 معدّة وآلية، إلى جانب وضع 367 حاوية نفايات إضافية لتعزيز كفاءة الأعمال الميدانية.
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has raised the readiness level of the municipal services system in the holy capital in preparation for the Ramadan and Umrah season this year, through comprehensive operational and service plans implemented by the ministry represented by the Secretariat of the Holy Capital.
The preparations included enhancing the efficiency of the tunnel networks, which span 22,515 meters in length, in addition to maintaining and preparing 6,000 meters of service tunnels, as well as carrying out maintenance work on 16 bridges and 8 main roads, which contributes to enhancing traffic flow and facilitating pedestrian movement during peak times.
The ministry clarified that the readiness plans relied on mobilizing 13,549 workers supported by 912 pieces of equipment and machinery, in addition to distributing more than 47,900 waste containers in various locations, aiming to raise the level of public cleanliness and environmental sanitation around the clock.
Efforts were particularly focused in the central area due to the high population density, as it was supported by more than 2,100 human resources, and provided with over 430 pieces of equipment and machinery, along with placing 367 additional waste containers to enhance the efficiency of field operations.
