تراجعت لغة التهدئة بين واشنطن وطهران عقب جولتين من المباحثات، لتفسح المجال أمام تصعيد سياسي وعسكري متبادل، يضع المنطقة على حافة مواجهة مفتوحة. وبينما لوّح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بمنح إيران مهلة لا تتجاوز 10 إلى 15 يوماً لإبرام اتفاق، سارعت طهران إلى رفع سقف التحذير، مؤكدة أنها ستتعامل مع قواعد ومنشآت وأصول «القوة المعادية» في المنطقة كأهداف مشروعة إذا تعرّضت لأي عدوان.
رسالة إلى غوتيريش: لا نريد الحرب.. لكن سنرد بحزم
وأبلغت البعثة الدائمة لإيران لدى الأمم المتحدة الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش في رسالة رسمية أن تصريحات الرئيس الأمريكي «تنذر باحتمال حقيقي لشن عدوان عسكري». وأكدت طهران في الوقت ذاته أنها لا تسعى إلى الحرب، لكنها «سترد بحزم» إذا فُرضت عليها المواجهة.
خيارات عسكرية على الطاولة
في المقابل، كشفت صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال، نقلاً عن مسؤولين أمريكيين، أن ترمب لم يتخذ قراراً نهائياً بشأن توجيه ضربة عسكرية، لكنه يدرس سيناريوهات متعددة، تبدأ بحملة تمتد أسبوعاً تستهدف البنية العسكرية الإيرانية، ولا تنتهي عند ضربات محدودة قد تطال منشآت حكومية وعسكرية.
وكان ترمب قد صعّد لهجته، معلناً أن واشنطن ستحدد خطواتها خلال 10 أيام إذا لم توافق إيران على اتفاق نووي، محذراً من أن «أشياء سيئة ستحدث» في حال فشل التوصل إلى تفاهم، ومؤكداً أن النتيجة ستتضح خلال الأيام العشرة القادمة على الأرجح.
شروط متباعدة.. ومفاوضات تراوح مكانها
وتطالب واشنطن بإنهاء الأنشطة النووية الإيرانية بالكامل، وفرض قيود صارمة على برنامج الصواريخ الباليستية، إضافة إلى وقف دعم طهران لحلفائها المسلحين في المنطقة. في المقابل، ترفض إيران اتفاقاً شاملاً بهذه الصيغة، وتعرض تنازلات محدودة في الملف النووي دون المساس بملفات أخرى، ما يُبقي فجوة الخلاف واسعة ويعقّد فرص التوصل إلى تسوية سريعة.
تعزيزات عسكرية وتحذيرات متبادلة
ويرى مسؤولون أمريكيون أن جمود المفاوضات، بالتوازي مع تعزيز الوجود العسكري الأمريكي في الشرق الأوسط، يرفع احتمالات توجيه ضربات. وخلال الأيام الماضية، دفعت الولايات المتحدة بمقاتلات متقدمة من طرازي «إف-35» و«إف-22»، إلى جانب اقتراب وصول حاملة طائرات ثانية، مع تعزيز منظومات الدفاع الجوي.
في المقابل، شدد المرشد الإيراني علي خامنئي على أن بلاده سترد «بأقصى قوة» على أي ضربة أمريكية، مؤكداً قدرة القوات الإيرانية على استهداف حاملة طائرات أمريكية وتوجيه «ضربة قاسية».
سباق المهَل.. ومخاوف الانزلاق
ومن المنتظر أن تقدم طهران ردها الرسمي على نتائج المباحثات خلال أسبوعين، غير أن مهلة الأيام العشرة التي أعلنها ترمب قد تدفعها إلى تسريع موقفها، في وقت تتزايد فيه المخاوف من انزلاق المنطقة إلى مواجهة عسكرية أوسع، تتجاوز حدود الرسائل السياسية إلى اختبار ميداني مفتوح.

Message to Guterres: We do not want war.. but we will respond firmly
The permanent mission of Iran to the United Nations informed UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in an official letter that the U.S. president’s statements “signal a real possibility of military aggression.” Tehran also confirmed that it does not seek war, but it “will respond firmly” if confrontation is imposed upon it.
Military options on the table
In contrast, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing U.S. officials, that Trump has not made a final decision regarding a military strike, but is considering multiple scenarios, starting with a week-long campaign targeting Iranian military infrastructure, and not ending with limited strikes that could hit government and military facilities.
Trump had escalated his rhetoric, announcing that Washington would determine its steps within 10 days if Iran did not agree to a nuclear deal, warning that “bad things will happen” if a consensus is not reached, and confirming that the outcome would likely become clear in the next ten days.
Divergent conditions.. and stalled negotiations
Washington demands the complete cessation of Iranian nuclear activities, the imposition of strict restrictions on the ballistic missile program, in addition to stopping Tehran’s support for its armed allies in the region. In contrast, Iran rejects a comprehensive agreement in this format and offers limited concessions on the nuclear issue without touching on other files, leaving a wide gap of disagreement and complicating the chances of reaching a quick settlement.
Military reinforcements and mutual warnings
U.S. officials believe that the stalemate in negotiations, alongside the bolstering of the U.S. military presence in the Middle East, increases the likelihood of strikes. In recent days, the United States has deployed advanced fighter jets of the “F-35” and “F-22” models, alongside the imminent arrival of a second aircraft carrier, while enhancing air defense systems.
In contrast, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei emphasized that his country would respond “with maximum force” to any U.S. strike, asserting the capability of Iranian forces to target an American aircraft carrier and deliver a “severe blow.”
Race against time.. and fears of slipping
Tehran is expected to provide its official response to the results of the negotiations within two weeks; however, the ten-day deadline announced by Trump may push it to accelerate its position, at a time when fears are increasing that the region may slip into a broader military confrontation, transcending the limits of political messages to an open field test.
